Great Experience - 5* - Our family thoroughly enjoyed our boat tour around Howth and even spotted a puffin! The weather was not great, but the captain even had an extra jacket our daughter could use given the rain that popped up at the last minute. Highly recommend this group for families.

Fun to see the wildlife - This was an enjoyable harbor tour. We saw many types of birds including puffins, and harbor seals. It is a little windy, so bring a scarf or hat.

Breathtaking Coastal Adventure with Captain Kim! - Our Howth Coastal Boat Tour with Ireland's Eye Ferries was an unforgettable experience! The scenery was absolutely stunning, the waters surrounding Ireland’s Eye and the wildlife that resided on it's shores. We spotted guillemots, a couple of puffins, and even seals lounging near the rocks! Captain Kim was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the area. Her storytelling about Howth’s history added so much depth to the journey, all while gentle Irish music played in our heads. The small group size made it feel personal and relaxed, and everything from boarding to cruising was smooth and easy. Highly recommend this tour for nature lovers, photographers, or anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic escape from the city. Just a short trip from Dublin, but it feels like a world away!

Puffins and seals and views, oh my! - This was a great way to see the islands around Howth, observe amazing wildlife, and learn a bit about the history of the area. Our captain was knowledgeable and friendly. He even let the kids each have a turn steering the boat. We were hoping to see puffins and were thrilled to spot one close to the boat. We also saw seals, including pups! Adorable. *Do not feed the seals in the harbor! They are wild animals.* Howth is an easy day trip from Dublin- use DART- and if you have time, stay for the cliff walks and fresh seafood at any of the local restaurants. Also, there’s a fantastic playground just a short walk from the pier.

Rough seas - Would have been nice cruise, but the sea was angry my friend.. small boat only holds 9 passengers. With rough water , made it difficult to enjoy. My advice would be to check the weather first,

Avoid, avoid, avoid - A disastrous experience, an overcrowded boat, you can't even take pictures from the boat because the partition in the middle of the boat is too high, there's a horrible story about a husband killing his wife on an island, totally irrelevant and stupid.. Basically, avoid paying €24 per person for a ride in a crowded boat from which you can't see anything but the muddy and wavy sea and the cliffs.
