- Lazareti - kreativna četvrt Dubrovnika - Lazareti in Dubrovnik is a long, narrow structure comprising 10 naves separated by five courtyards, all enclosed by high walls. Completed in 1647, it served as a quarantine station during outbreaks of plague and cholera. Located near the Ploce Gate, Lazareti was constructed between 1627 and 1647. Its strategic position, just outside the city and near the Old Port, made it ideal for quarantining merchants, sailors, and travelers for 40 days before they could enter the city.
