Upon entering Old Town, visitors will learn about life in the Republic of Ragusa, see Onofrio’s Fountain, which was the main source of drinking water until the early 20th century, discover how Franciscans advanced medicine in the oldest operating pharmacy at the Franciscan Monastery, and stroll along side streets towards the Cathedral. The guide will also point out filming locations for Game of Thrones, Robin Hood, and Star Wars. At the Old Town port, visitors will observe how the modern fleet has taken precedence over the traditional, yet still sailing, wooden galleys. The walk concludes at Luza Square, where visitors will learn about the Rector’s Palace, St. Blaise, and Sponza Palace. From here, they can continue along the main street, Stradun, independently.
