Upon entering Old Town, you will be introduced to the lifestyle in the Republic of Ragusa, see Onofrio’s Fountain, which was the main source of drinkable water until the early 20th century, learn about the Franciscans’ development of medicine in the oldest functioning pharmacy at the Franciscan Monastery, and stroll along side streets towards the Cathedral. Your guide will also point out filming locations from Game of Thrones, Robin Hood, and Star Wars. In the Old Town port, you will observe how the modern fleet has taken precedence over the traditional, yet still sailing, wooden galleys. The walk will conclude at Luza Square, where you will learn about the Rector’s Palace, St. Blaise, and Sponza Palace. From here, you can continue along the main street, Stradun, at your leisure.
