• Sipan - Your next stop is the island of Šipan, the largest of the group. Šipan holds the Guinness World Record for the highest number of olive trees on a single island. Historically significant to the noble families of the Dubrovnik Republic, it was their favored summer retreat, where they built historical villas and summer homes. Today, you can admire the late-Gothic architecture. In Suđurađ, one of the ports, many families have preserved the fishing tradition, as Šipan’s distance from the mainland has kept it from becoming commercialized. On Šipan, you can witness authentic local life and activities unrelated to tourism. Enjoy jumping from the boat into the pristine Adriatic Sea, creating memorable Instagram moments.
• Kolocep Island - Following Šipan, you’ll visit the smaller island of Koločep. Although not heavily populated, its natural beauty is awe-inspiring. Ideal for swimming and diving, the island is rich in hidden bays. Explore the island to find intriguing cliffs for jumping or perfect sunbathing spots! Koločep features two typical Mediterranean villages, easily walkable, where you can admire the lush pine and olive tree vegetation.
