Interesting and fun activity - We really enjoyed the mystery tour. Sanja has put a lot of work into putting together the tour and pack. This made us look closely at what was around us, as well as learn about some of the history of Dubrovnik. Thank you. 😊

For history lovers!!! A must! - I truly enjoyed discovering so many fascinating facts about the history of the Republic of Ragusa. The quest is not only rich in information but also wonderfully engaging — it really makes you feel like part of the story!! Take your time and walk slowly — the city hides so many small details worth noticing. If you’re a history lover, this is an absolute must!!! Best time is to go before 10 am or after 6 pm. Huge thanks to Sanja for making the experience even more magical. Your passion and warmth made all the difference. ❤️‍🔥

Very good entry into the field in Dubrovnik - Very good way to discover the city via an investigation game. Based on real facts, this story leads us to look at some of the most important places in Dubrovnik’s Old Town. Created by Sanja, who is there to welcome you and give you the game bag, this course allows you, at your own pace and autonomously, to spend time observing the various monuments and points of interest of the city. Maybe some transitions to be re-specified between the different chapters, but overall this investigation game is very pleasant.

Just go for it! - Great way to experience the city and its history. Did it with my husband, child and our dog. Very nice walk, gamey elements and takes you to places where you wouldn’t go otherwise. Sanja is a great host, very friendly. Every city should have something like this! I can recommend this experience as an alternative to a regular city tour. This is much more interesting than regular tours. We have souvenir also from Dubrovnik now...

Fun and interesting experience - We really enjoyed getting to know this beautiful city with the Mysterious game. It let us to famous sides and hidden gems and was flexible enough to allow stops for coffee and lunch. Sanja did a great introduction, very personal, friendly and generous! At the end, we have this mysterious envelope like as a souvenir from Dubrovnik ❤️.

I reccommend this great experience!! - The Mysterious Game of Dubrovnik left the best impressions. I really liked how Sanja thought out the story and subtly integrated it into the city tour. We visited all the key places in Dubrovnik and looked at them from a different perspective. The format of the quest game is very successful, as there is no strict time constraint, and you can go through the game at your own pace :).Thank you very much, would reccommend!

Highly recommended - Was sceptical about this game at first as there were not many reviews, it was booked through email and we had to meet the creator (Sanja) at a bus stop to start. However, when we meet Sanja at Boninovo bus stop it was clear that this game was going to be a lot of fun! She handed us our envelope, gave some insight into the game ahead and set the scene for our mystery. The game consisted of decision making, location finding, code breaking and more. It was a fun and interactive way to learn more about the city without a tour guide. This meant you could take it at your own pace. We stopped for lunch which allowed us to soak in the information we had learnt and brainstorm about the outcome of our mystery. Would highly recommend!

Mr. Henner - Unexpectedly good experience! My family and I spent a very interesting afternoon exploring just one of the countless stories from Dubrovnik's rich past. For a moment, we went back 200 years... Well done Sanja, great idea!

Most enjoyable - My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It’s nice to see a new city from a different perspective. This time following in the footsteps of a local resident from the 1800’s. We got a little bit lost at the beginning but when we got to the Pile Gate we were on our way. Breakfast first though as we were a bit grumpy! The tour was a good length and not having to climb the stairs (on a very hot day) was a bonus. From first enquiries, to meeting us and handing over the clues, the booking process was very smooth. We got lots of helpful information (photos and bus details from our hotel) beforehand. Some landmarks were being renovated making then hard to see but in such an old city, that’s life.

Could be excellent with a few amendments - We bought this self-guided trail thinking it would be like the well-known 'Treasure Trails' popular in the UK, showing us little-known quirks of the area. We were given an exciting envelope and told we were following the story of a real person through historical events. It was initially presented like a 'choose-your-own-adventure', which we were really interested by, but unfortunately (without wishing to spoil anything), if you make the 'wrong' choice at the start you are directed 1km in the wrong direction and then only know you're in the wrong place because all of the rest of the information talks about the other option. The English translation is lacking in some points (with several parts confusing to native speakers), and unfortunately having explored Old Town the day before this trail didn't take us far off the standard beaten path. This has the makings of a potentially excellent trail but desperately needs play-testing with native English speakers as it is confusing and doesn't flow well and needs expanding on. If you do want to do it, we recommend using this to guide you through your first visit to Old Town to see the major tourist attractions.
