Best distillery in Scotland - We had a great time. I learned a load I didn't know about whisky and was surprised how well chocolate can go with whisky. John gave us lots of information and made it a great experience being so friendly. Wee discount on bottles in the shop at the end was a plus and because I went on my birthday I got a present. Would highly recommend going.

Great day out factual and fun - Our whiskey tasting tour was hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had — and I’ve done quite a few tours over the years. From start to finish, it was the perfect mix of atmosphere, education, and genuinely great fun. Our guide, Devin, absolutely made the experience. He was hilarious without ever overdoing it — quick-witted, relaxed, and full of personality — but what really impressed me was how he kept the facts coming the entire time. Between the laughs, he delivered a steady stream of fascinating history, production insights, and tasting notes that made you appreciate every sip even more. You could tell he truly knew his stuff and loved sharing it. The tour itself was brilliantly structured, walking us through the process from grain to glass and giving us a real understanding of what makes each expression unique. The tasting was exceptional, with plenty of time to savor and discuss each dram. What made it extra special for me was that the tour had been a birthday gift — and when Devin found out, he went above and beyond by pouring me not one but two 10-year-old drams. Such an unexpected and generous touch that made an already fantastic day feel even more memorable. If you’re considering a whiskey tasting tour, I can’t recommend this one highly enough. Great whiskey, great atmosphere, and a guide who perfectly balances entertainment with expertise. An unforgettable experience. 🥃

Glengoyne Tour, Tasting and Chocolates - My girlfriend and I came for the Glengoyne tour and tasting for my birthday. We had such a great time. Devin was incredibly knowledgeable, informative and funny. We aren't the most knowledgeable about whiskey but both feel like we've come away knowing so much more. The hospitality of everyone at the distillery was just exceptional. Can't recommend enough!

Welcoming, friendly and definitely go again - Dropped in on a whim as we were on a break in Scotland, I have mobility issues which means I use a scooter. The staff were very apologetic and upset that they couldn't fit us in that day but we're supper friendly and helpful and booked us in for the next day. It was worth it the guides were very informative and knowledgeable and even answered questions that were random and off topic. Accessible for wheelchairs just let them know in advance that you use one.

Sublime - we had such a great experience at the Glengoyne Whisky Distillery. - We had such a great experience at Glengoyne today, this wonderful distillery tucked away in rural settings is so pretty. Our guide Devin looked after us so well, knowledgeable and friendly with some great humour during our tour. The tasting is always a highlight and didn’t disappoint with the shop providing some of their golden spirit that isn’t available elsewhere. Thank you to the whole team and especially Val Marsh for her insightful explanation, especially the single cask tasting notes.
