A peaceful haven. - I love visiting the gardens and do so 5 or 6 times a year. There is always something different to see, each season brings new colours and surprises round every corner. I love nature, trees, patterns, colours, reflections, scents and this place has it all. A few hours well spent for £5. What's not to like about that?

A beautiful morning spent in the gardens - Give yourself a couple of hours to enjoy it all. The cafe ihas been closed for a couple of years so take a drink with you. Lots of wonderful trees and we would hope to be back when all the colours are on show .

Great gardens - Easy to book on line at the door. Good value for money and a wide variety of plants from around the world, water features with terrapins and glasshouses. Well worth a visit if you like plants.

Relaxing walk - Had a fantastic time. The gardens are beautiful and unlike many other botanical gardens in that they have an extensive selection of trees. The volunteers are very knowledgable and helpful with information about the gardens. We'll worth a visit but best to make it a dry day. Great for all levels of activity due to its easy paths. Plenty of benches for a stop as well

University Parklands - An interesting garden to visit. Informative descriptions of plants. Parking easy. Toilets clean good cafe. Or just bring something and eat at the numerous benches. Well worth visiting even if you are not into plants. If wet there are large glasshouses to visit. View of airport in places.
