Food Tasting Tour in Dunedin. Glad we did it early in our stay! - Our CraftD food tour in Dunedin with Ross met our high expectations. Quality products, locally sourced, venues we might not have found on our own. Glad we did this tasting tour on the second day of our one week as we will return to one or two of these over our one week stay. We really like the stories behind the delicious local tastings we had. Ross was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and generous with his time. We would recommend this tour.

It’s not just the food that’s great - We had a great experience with Ross as our guide. Every stop was curated with local small business owners that added so much knowledge and insight to the tour.

Must do tour if you’re interested in seeing the city and sampling the local independent food and drink scene - A great way to see the city. Our tour guy Ross was brilliant - lots of insider info about Dunedin and New Zealand. Plus we went to some amazing independent food and drink producers which we would have completely missed had we been on our own. All of the food and drink we tried was sublime and the company was fab too.

Incredible walking food and city tour with Ross. - This walking food tour was excellent. Ross was a great guide. He was informative, fun and engaging. The tour was well paced and not rushed with easy walking and mild grades on paved city sidewalks and streets. It would work with some mild use of canes but not easily with wheelchairs. The tour was at a steady pace, alternating walk - then food - then walk, etc. with our guide keeping a running commentary about the surrounding environment as well as fun facts about the area and its residents. Food choices were varied and well selected. The group size was just right: 14 people. We only had 7 hours in port and this was a great way to learn a little about the city, its history and its living experience. We thought the fee, which included our twenty minute bus ride into the city with an accompanying description of the geography and buildings by the personable driver, was very reasonable. The city downtown is quite welcoming and easy to walk in with a wide variety of different stores, brew pubs, bistros, cafes in the central are around the octagon. We wish we had another full day to further explore!
