- Venetian Tower of Durrës - As you descend on foot, visit one of the city’s historic towers, a beautifully restored structure that acts as a panoramic balcony, offering stunning 360° views of Durrës and the sea. This is an excellent chance to learn about the fortifications that once safeguarded this strategic port city.
- Durres Amphitheatre - Next, proceed to the Durrës Amphitheater, a significant ancient monument in Albania. It ranks as the third-largest amphitheater after those in Rome and Capua, showcasing the Roman era’s influence in this city. Although only a portion has been excavated, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the accessible section and envision the grand spectacles that once occurred here.
- Promenade Park (Shetitorja “Vollga”) - Afterwards, enjoy approximately 1 hour of free time at the Vollga Promenade. It’s an ideal moment to take in the sea view, enjoy a coffee, or shop for souvenirs.

Amazing Moments in Duress - A wonderful excursion filled with history and the breathtaking landscapes of the Adriatic Sea, where we truly felt amazing. Special thanks to Ervin, who was a fantastic guide, explaining the history and all the locations we visited. Last but not least, our thanks go to our driver and the company for organizing this wonderful excursion to Durrës.

Durres tour - The experience was worth it we saw so much from durres to the historical landmarks and stopped to see golem beach. it was still nice during winter season weather was warm and guide gave us alot of free time.

Very good mostly - Really nice city but make sure you check your destinations are open. Not a big deal but history sites are closed Monday so plan accordingly. Also the train station is non existent, there is absolutely no train at all. Other than that if they cleared the beggars from the beach it could be world class.

Beautiful Durrës Tour with Amazing Views and a Fantastic Guide - Today’s highlight was a wonderful visit to Durrës, one of the oldest seaside cities in Albania, combined with stunning viewpoints and a very relaxing atmosphere.
The itinerary was perfectly balanced:
• Royal Villa on top of the hill with breathtaking panoramic sea views
• Gunpowder Viewpoint, absolutely beautiful
• A pleasant walking tour, visiting the area outside the Durrës Amphitheater and the Venetian Tower
• A relaxing walk along the Vollga Promenade
• Free time for lunch, beach, and relaxation
Our tour guide, Ervin, was exceptional. Very polite, friendly, and genuinely helpful, he did his best to make everyone feel comfortable and informed throughout the day. You can really tell he cares about what he does.
The group was small (only 5 people), which made the experience even better, and the mini bus was comfortable and convenient. Everything felt well-organized, calm, and enjoyable.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to explore history, enjoy sea views, and spend a beautiful, stress-free day in Durrës. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
