So glad we did this! - Really enjoyed our visit to My Son. Beautiful location, nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of Hoian and explore this picturesque and culturally rich place. Our guide Tony was fabulous and we learnt a lot from him. He was engaging and informative and paced the delivery of information and the site visit very nicely. It was also a treat to visit a local farm and see how rice paper is made as well as learn a bit how the farmers live and work and then to top the tour off with a boat ride.

Worth the early start - The 5am start was well worth it as when we arrived, our group was the only group at the temple and so we had it to ourselves. By the time we left, the mist in the mountains had gone, and lots of other groups had arrived. Amy was a great guide, she was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and her English was extremely good which made the trip even more enjoyable.

I highly suggest taking... - I highly suggest taking the 5:30am tour. We were the first ones there, the temperature was perfect and it was so peaceful. It started to get very crowded when we were leaving around 9:30am. Amy and Lee were absolutely amazing. Extremely knowledgeable and funny. This was definitely worth it. I would 100% recommend.
