For those passionate about ancient history, a visit to My Son Sanctuary is essential! This site was historically a place of worship where the Cham-Pa, now known as the Cham people, offered sacrifices to the Gods. Constructed between the 4th and 13th centuries A.D., this renowned architectural site was dedicated to the god Shiva. In 1999, UNESCO recognized My Son as a world cultural heritage site.
The tour includes a hotel pick-up by car, with a journey to Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary taking approximately 1 hour.
Upon arrival, the guide will provide a 2-hour tour, explaining the construction techniques of the temples and offering insights into Champa culture.
After the tour, the return trip to your hotel will take about 1 hour, concluding the tour upon arrival.

Early morning small group temple tour - A great tour with Tai, picked up at our hotel promptly and taken to My Son by minibus. Briefed en route so we spent less time standing in the hot sun, we arrived at the temple at 7am. Tai showed us the best sights and explained the restoration efforts as we visited all parts of My Son. Recommended!

Ancient history brought to life brilliantly - A great, enthusiastic and hugely knowledgeable guide - Tai - took us on a fascinating tour of the temple complex and its history; both ancient and more recent. An impressive visit with a brilliant guide.

Great visit of My Son with Mr Tai - Excellent service from Mr Tai, from pick up at the hotel to the return.
Lots of detailed explanations, with a first briefing in the car on the way.

We had a wonderful tour!... - We had a wonderful tour! I am very glad that we started at 6 AM in the morning because we were able to visit the site without too much of a crowd and before the heat of the day. Tai was a fantastic guide and tailored the experience to us. We had great communication on WhatsApp prior to departure. The best part about starting so early is that we were done by 10:30 in the morning and back to our hotel in Hoi An.

Worthwhile tour with excellent Guide - This is a very popular tourist spot. Luckily our wonderful guide Thai recommended that we leave at 7am to avoid the crowds and heat. We were practically alone at that time and also got to enjoy the excellent dance performance . Thai was very knowledgeable and eager to share with us. He gave us the lecture, pointers, explanations on the ride there so we had less time standing in the hot sun. He also explained the details once we were there. We would definitely recommend him and this tour.

Beautiful temple but visiting solo is better - The temple is beautiful and definitely worth a visit. Don’t miss the traditional dance show that happens twice in the morning! The site is quite small, so it can get crowded quickly. Even if you go early before 10am, it's already very hot, so I recommend bringing a long-sleeved shirt and an umbrella for shade.
There are QR codes throughout the temple, which make it easy to explore on your own and learn about the rituals and significance of each area. The guides tend to rush through their explanations, and honestly, the private tour didn’t add much value. So if you're thinking of going solo go ahead. People are super nice and helpful in the site.
