Informative day out - We had a fun trip with Michael as our guide (is he really the most handsome man in HOI AN? :-). He was entertaining on the bus ride and very informative and enthusiastic when we were visiting the sites. I'd recommend this trip for families with teens but watch out as it's very hot and humid at the ruins.

Got great info, pics, AND my 10K steps in! - Our tour guide was Tony and he gave us a lot of historical information. I learned a lot and walked a lot! I have great pictures of such a beautiful place. They are still uncovering new finds. It would be worth it for me to come back in a year or so.

Great visit of My Son Sanctuary - Strongly recommend visiting the My Son sanctuary site. The site is beautiful and you can feel its historical importance. We were very pleased to have booked a tour, our fantastic and fun guide "Luan - The handsome Lung" made the trip even more memorable giving us tons of insight on the origin of the site and its history. The sanctuary is easy to visit, an electric cart takes you most of the way. You then have a short walk to get to the temple or you can rent a bike.

A great cultural experience - Highly recommend this trip. Comfortable drive, knowledgeable guide with great sense of humour. The early arrival time means you get can get in and out before it gets too hot. I wouldn't want to go any later in the day. It would be pretty boring wandering around the ruins without a guide. The dance performance was good too. The rice paper making experience was really interesting and a simple but tasty lunch provided. Lovely to finish off with a cruise on the river sipping on a cold beer. A great day out at a reasonable price.

Could have been better - We booked tour to primarily see My Sun Sanctuary. Although our guide communicated well and the tour was fine, our problem was she was constantly rushing us from spot to spot relentlessly. All travelers in the group agreed & we expressed that to her. We traveled 1/2 way around the world to Hoi An, and My Sun Sanctuary was our only day trip. We recognize that the problem was we booked an open tour. Your price was great, we saw the ruins, etc. However, as a suggestion to you, charge a bit more for the tour so that a traveler does not need to be so rushed. We wanted more than selfie opportunities at World heritage site. Nevertheless, guide and driver got a decent gratuity, at least from us. Had she not constantly rushed us through, tour review would have been 5 star. Our lesson, even with just the two of us, book a private car.
