Magical My Son - Thank you, Mr Hau, our magical and entertaining guide. This trip was excellent. Rice paper rolls in action, misty mountain ruins, delicious round table lunch and cruisey boat ride back to Hoi An. A great way to experience My Son Sanctuary and surrounds - even in the rain.

Half day trip to My Son - We had a half day to My Son and our guide was Josh. We had a good time there. We went to a place for rice paper making before going to the My Son Sanctuary. Josh explained the Champa culture and the architecture and also allowed free time for us to visit. A nice day for us. Thank you.

Best tour guide ever - We did the My Son sanctuary tour today and it was a amazing experience. We book a morning tour with all expense include and we were a 10 persons group. Our guide Michael was excellent. He speak good in English, was funny all day long and really handsome. Our best guide we had in Vietnam and probably the best in our many years of travel. I would totally recommend you book your tour with them to have a wonderful experience.

Not a small group or luxury - We had booked this tour as it said small group and luxury, it was neither. We had more than 12 in the group ,which meant to pick them all up took time, and the bus was then completely full and you felt squeezed in Because the group was large it was difficult to hear the guide, our guide also did not give out some basic information . He gave information about the my son place but nothing else ,there was a dance show and we missed some of this because of miscommunication. There was a sun set boat ride which was really nice and the guide was with us but there was no input from him, when you are with a tour guide giving about information are where you are visiting would be useful

Overpriced and not enough time at My Son - Went on the morning My Son trip arranged via our accommodation and Vens Travel were the operator. Pick up was fine, on time and we headed straight to My Son, arriving there around 09:00. On the brochure it said you had 2 hours to explore, but we were ushered round the first area and then dragged off to watch a show. We decided to skip the show to allow us to explore more of the ruins, as after the show we were told we would only have 30 more minutes. The actual time we had there was around 90 minutes, and we still missed out some of the bits we wanted to see. I'd suggest when the tour first gets there, the guide gives you 2 hours to explore alone or go with him to the first area and the show. They could just arrange to gather at a meeting point after. Then we went 30 mins away to what is described as a farmers house, where we watched a lady make rice paper, and one person had a go at doing it too. Personally I would drop this activity and allow more time at the My Son complex, after all that is what the tour is sold as. Then another 20 mins later we go to a restaurant for lunch, which was at 11:30! Description was having traditional Vietnamese food, where in reality the Banh Xeo and the Spring Rolls were so greasy our table left most of them. We had some sweet and sour chicken with rice, which is more a cantonese dish and some vegetables. The quality of the food was poor, no wonder the restaurant hasn't got great reviews on Google. Then we headed back to Hoi An, to get on a boat at an area that was covered in litter and then went 15-20 mins along the river where the banks are disgusting with litter all along them. Again I would skip this activity and spend more time at My Son. The whole tour felt rushed and even the guide, Sherlock admitted they need to get back on time so they can facilitate the afternoon trip. Skip the rice paper making, go somewhere nicer to have a Banh Mi for breakfast on route to My Son, spend more time there and skip lunch and the boat.. would be my suggestion. Overall it was a poor trip and felt overpriced for what it was.
