Highly Enjoyable Day Tour - Traveled with 3 teenagers and this was a great tour; activities as described. We were able to stop to get refreshments and swim at the beach before reaching the Temple of Poseidon. Tour guide was knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip in Athens.

Overall I would... - Overall I would definitely recommend this activity. We had an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable. We went to the beach got to swim for about an hour. After we went to the temple of Poseidon. They do charge $20 Euros to enter, but it’s worth it. We got great pictures and we got lucky it was off season, so it wasn’t busy. After that we went to eat dinner. We went to a sea food restaurant, everything we order was delicious, the food was so fresh. I highly recommend this tour.

Great experience, very... - Great experience, very fun with lots of mythology based stories, good food and good vibes. Would definitely recommend to any groups or solos looking for a good half day out.

Awesome half-day tour from Athens - Awesome half-day trip from Athens! Nikolaos took great care of us and provided context to the journey. Stopped at an amazing beach with turquoise water then on to Cape Sounio for the Temple. Then the option to stop for local food on the way back (highly recommended). Comfortable van, plenty of rest/coffee stops, great for solo travelers or groups. Definitely check this out if you’re in Athens and looking for a nice break from the city!

Nike was great host. - Perfect Group size of 6. Niko gave an informative tour and answered our many questions. The beach was perfect and the sunset superb. It was great to be out of the hot city and enjoy seafood dinner with a local who could make recommendations. Would do it all again.

A wonderful evening - We had a great trip with Nikolas to Cape Sounio. We particularly enjoyed swimming in the Aegean and of course watching the sunset. We met some lovely people and would really recommend this trip. Thank you Nikolas.

Our family had an amazing... - Our family had an amazing time on this tour. The first stop was a beautiful small beach where we all swam and relaxed in the sun. After the beach we drove to the Temple of Poseidon. Our guide, Niko, was incredibly knowledgeable and shared many insights into the history of the areas we visited. He is also an expert on everything Greek Mythology which made the stop at the temple so much more interesting. We ended the tour with a stop in the town of Lavrio where we had one of the best seafood lunches we have had in Greece.
I would highly recommend this tour. The van was very comfortable, the stops were all excellent, and Niko was a pleasure to have as our guide for the day. He even returned to our hotel later to return a water bottle we left behind!

Perfect - The perfect day trip to escape Athens centre from the heatwave. Nico was a great host; friendly, informative and engaging with the kids. The beach area was lovely; just what we’d hoped for; the kids loved the mythological background as we drive up to Poseidons Temple (the reality is we had 40 mins there but it was hot and the kids were only so interested so we only spent 20mins); then a delicious meal nearby before being dropped off near our apartment. 100% recommend as a tour guide!

5 stars for Niko and Cathenian Adventures! - Niko ran an amazing tour for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 boys ages 9 & 11). We stopped at Lake Vouliagmeni for a quick look and Niko showed our boys where RedBull does their high diving, so our boys forced us to watch YouTube videos of that later on! Our next stop was to change and order some drinks. I was introduced to Chocolate Ice, which I continued to order after our tour;) After we changed we headed for a cove beach. We stayed there for about 90 minutes while our kids played in the water, skipped rocks, and had fun looking at fish. We made it to the Temple of Poseidon with plenty of time before sunset and took photos in a variety of spots. My Poseidon loving son walked away with a Poseidon ornament for our Christmas tree from the gift shop. Our final stop was for the seafood lover in our crowd. We stopped at a local restaurant, had dinner with Niko who explained what might be some good choices and he didn't steer us wrong. The dinner stop was my husband's fav of the whole trip and it was reasonably priced. Throughout our 5 hours together, Niko kept the kids (and adults) engaged with mythology and history at almost all times. We really appreciated getting to know Niko, and how much he loves his job, his company and sharing his knowledge. We highly recommend Niko and Cathenian Adventures!

Must experience!! SO incredible! - Beautiful tour of the coast and incredible views of the sunset at Poseidon’s Temple! Niko was so informative and funny and made the whole day one we will never forget! Gorgeous beach time with crystal clear waters and fabulous dinner afterwards was priceless! Thanks Niko! Come visit us in Idaho!
