- I recently did the 2-day, 1-night Mount Rinjani trek in Lombok and it was truly one of the best experiences of my life! The tour was challenging, but absolutely worth every step – the views, the adventure, and the sense of achievement were unmatched. A big shoutout to my travel guide, Pin – he was amazing! Super friendly, funny, and always there to help with anything we needed. His energy and positivity made the tough moments feel easier, and he made the whole trip even more enjoyable. You can really tell he loves what he does. From the organization to the food, everything was well taken care of. If you're considering doing this trek, go for it – and if you can, ask for Pin as your guide. Can’t recommend it enough!

Wonderful trekking experience - The EM team is very experienced and responsible. The weather on my original date was not the best, but EM recommended a schedule with good weather. The whole experience was great and the scenery of Rinjani was also very beautiful.

The best - I just completed a 2 day, 1-night summit trek with EM Adventure, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. Right from the booking stage, their communication was clear and quick, which made planning so easy and stress-free. The entire team was fantastic — our guide (Fin) was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He shared lots of interesting information along the trail and made sure everyone in the group felt safe and encouraged. The porters and crew were also amazing: hardworking, cheerful, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The trek itself was absolutely stunning. The views along the way were breathtaking, and standing at the summit as the sun rose was worth every step. The camp was well set up and comfortable, all brans new gear and I was impressed by how tasty and filling the meals were — I definitely didn’t expect such good food on a mountain! Overall, EM Adventure delivered an unforgettable experience and took care of every detail. If you’re planning a trek in this region, don’t hesitate to book with them — you’ll be in excellent hands.

Thank you for an incredible experience Em - I’ve just got back from Lombok after an incredible time hiking Mount Rinjani - doing the 2 day 1 night tour. I cannot rate Em Adventure more highly. (Reading my review back it sounds like I’m exaggerating, but it really was that good). Everything about the tour was exceptional. Em is an all round lovely guy. He is passionate about what he does and he leads Em Adventure exceptionally well. From before it began, we were picked up by an included transfer all the way over in Kuta, Lombok (the same was provided for the return journey to the port too). The accommodation was in a beautiful spot, close to the start of the mountain. It was very clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner with Em. For the hike, there was 4 of us in our group and we had 2 guides - the brilliant Opo and Fin, who were absolutely lovely. We also had 3 porters. Who were incredible. We had every meal plus snacks provided for us by them the whole tour. The food would have been delicious in a restaurant, let alone cooked up a mountain! We also had a very comfortable night sleep at the crater rim in the tents set up by the team. Em Adventure is incredibly worthy of a 5 star review. Thank you Em and all the team. It was a really special trip.

Great experience with Em Adventure ! - We went Trips Rinjani 2 days 1 night with Em Adventure. From the start of the journey, Em helped us book our fares from Padang Bai to Bangsal, the first night before the walk was impressive, the views were gorgeous, the rooms had it all, and the hosts' families took care of us before walking down. Our Guide was attentive and helpful throughout the hike, the food was well-stocked, with fruit, sweets, too. We don’t be afraid to go hungry. Our group went up and down the hills quite fast, but remember that we can walk at their own pace, it’s not easy to get to the summit, but if it’s well managed, ready to pack, the views and the experience are worth it.

Rijani with small onions! - Everything was perfect! I highly recommend! The organization was top, with different transfers and the night before the treck included. The porters prepared very good dishes for us. The guide was very kind and adapted to the rhythm of the group (small group which is also a real advantage). The bivouac equipment was in very good condition: tent, mattress, sleeping bag, and even inflatable pillows. And Em arranges to lend us hiking equipment if needed. It was a great adventure, thank you for everything!

Very nice and super organized tour! - We (two adults and a 17-year-old boy) felt very well looked after all around. The tour itself is super organized and we didn't miss anything. The pickup was on time and the ride in the minibus was comfortable and safe. The driver already gave us plenty of information and background about our tour on the way but also more generally about Indonesia and Lombok in very good English. He also gave us a top Recommendation for local food near our accommodation at the foot of Rinjani. Drinks and breakfast were then provided directly in the property's garden. During the tour itself, we could fully rely on our guide (Naswan). He guided us safely through the sometimes challenging terrain and always knew the best and safest way – if there were alternative routes. He took care of everyone in our group so no one was left behind. Naswan is from the area and has known all the local people for years. As a result, it has very good connections. He also has the experience of over 200 Rinjani ascents and speaks excellent English. The two porters (carriers) of our group were also very impressive. They have not only dragged all our equipment consisting of tent, mattresses, sleeping bags, pillows, table, chairs, toilet tent, but also quantities of food and drinks up the mountain and cooked us three times a day very good and abundant food fresh. There was delicious chicken, rice, noodles as well as lots of fruit and vegetables and for breakfast even pancakes. We always had plenty of water and more tea than we could drink. Our meals were sometimes served so nicely in special places away from the tourist flow that passersby thought we had booked a VIP tour 😉. The views on the crater rim at sunset and at the top of the mountain at sunrise were spectacular. From our Rinjani tour we took many great memories, beautiful photos and a fat sore muscles.

Mt Rinjani Experience - Me and my friend hiked Mt. Rinjani with Em Adventure which was a challenging but excellent experience. We were suprised to have essentially a private tour with our own guide and porter for just the two of us! Another couple was on the hike but we were able to move at our own pace without pressure to keep up to them thanks to our guide. This was a luxury other hikers did not seem to have. Em arranged for a driver to pick us up from the pier and bring us to Sembalun village. We stayed in a cozy home stay with a gorgeous view of the ocean run by Em’s family which was lovely. The food on our hike was delicious and there was so much - you won’t go hungry! My friend had a nut allergy and they were fully able to accommodate.
