• Pyhä Husky Farm - Join us at our exclusive husky farm. Enjoy a 30-minute (5km) safari and get acquainted with the dogs.

Our husky farm is nestled in the woods, adjacent to the Pyhä-Luosto National Park and the fell area, which you can admire during the safari. Initially, comprehensive driving instructions will be provided, revealing the secrets of husky mushing. Then, embark on a sled ride powered by six huskies. Relish the exhilarating sled journey with huskies through the wilderness!

During the safari, two individuals or one family can share a husky team. After receiving thorough riding instructions, one adult can begin mushing the team while others sit in the sled. At the halfway point, adults have the option to switch places, though it is not mandatory.

Post-safari, enjoy storytelling about the charming husky dogs while sipping warm berry juice in a cozy hut. This guided tour is perfect for families. There will be ample time to enjoy the dogs’ company and capture numerous photos with them. If fortunate, visitors might even meet the farm’s puppies.

The welfare of our animals is our top priority in all our endeavors. Our farm is situated adjacent to the traditional frontman’s residence, where the dog handlers reside and care for the animals. Linked to the farm is a hut where visitors can learn about our dogs while enjoying hot juice. We encourage unlimited photography and have made investments to ensure our guests have ample time to interact with and photograph the dogs.
