For a change of pace, a short drive east along the firth leads to Glenmorangie Distillery. Visitors can choose to take their Classic tour or simply savor a dram or two in the tasting rooms.
A delightful late lunch is planned at the charming Platform 1864 restaurant and coffee shop in Tain, followed by a drive southwest along the A9 to Tore. The journey continues west above the northern shore of the Beauly Firth to Muir of Ord, home to the Glen Ord Distillery and The Singleton Malt. Here, guests can enjoy the Classic tour or sample some of their exquisite malts in the distillery’s modern and inviting tasting rooms.
