Following that, journey to the singular dual-temple of Kom Ombo, which honors two powerful deities - Horus or Haroeris, represented with a falcon head, and Sobek, the crocodile-headed god of fertility. Here, observe the preserved remains of numerous crocodiles, symbolic of their ancient counterparts who used to inhabit the Nile’s banks, just like their modern equivalents do today.
