Spooky History - We were led on the Double Dead tour by guide Beth and our family of four (including two teenage boys) were properly entertained and creeped out. You definitely want to have good, non-slip footwear but this is a must-do in Edinburgh!

This tour was scary good - Beth was an interesting and informative guide. She did a great job on the history of the Vaults and Greyfriars. Wear good shoes because it's quite a bit of walking over cobbles and uneven ground.

Fabulously interesting... - Fabulously interesting and entertaining tour with Ben! The rain just added to the atmosphere that he created with the places and his stories.

Nighttime Ghost Tour in Edinburgh! - The tour was great and Lou our tour guide was exceptional. He gave us great background history on both the underground vaults and Greyfriars Kirkyard. He is also a great storyteller. Additionally access to both the underground vaults and the Conventers prison at Greyfriars Kirkyard was a treat.

10/10 - Thoroughly enjoyed our guided tour with Xander; fantastic story teller! You get to see some truly special locations while learning the dark history of their origins. Wear comfortable walking shoes and consider bringing a water bottle.

absolutely brilliant - don’t miss it! - We booked the Double Dead Tour not quite knowing what to expect, but what we got was one of the most hilarious, informative, and engaging experiences of our entire trip. Ryan, our guide, was a master storyteller — blending gruesome history with sharp humour and just the right amount of theatrical flair. He kept us hooked from start to finish, balancing facts and folklore with an energy that was 100% Scottish in the best possible way. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does, and his passion (and accent) made the whole thing unforgettable. Come for the ghosts and graveyards, stay for Ryan’s one-liners and spine-tingling stories. Would give it six stars if I could. A must-do in Edinburgh. Note: we had a mix of adults and teens / tweens.

Could have been better - Cold and wet (it’s Scotland!) but guide was sick and coughing throughout. Not a good look. The tour was overbooked (30 or more people) which made it difficult to get close enough to hear her. Repeated herself many times. Her history was good, trying to scare us with weak stories, not so much
