Excellent, Safe, and Flexible Service – Highly Recommended! - We had an amazing experience with our driver, Mr. Saf, today! The service was excellent — he was incredibly flexible with our schedule, especially when the kids were tired, and made sure we could adjust our plans comfortably. His driving was very safe and smooth, and he shared lots of interesting and informative details along the way, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

5 Star Service - This review is 5 stars because of the customer service, not the tour itself. Unfortunately, our ship was not able to tender to Edinburgh due to weather conditions. We learned of the cancellation only about an hour before our tour was scheduled to start, and we had already paid for the tour. Viator handled this all very professionally and treated me very fairly in refunding what we had paid. We were past the cancellation deadline and grateful for their understanding of the situation. Beyond that issue, the team at Viator did a great job communicating with me from my initial inquiry to letting me know exactly where our guide would meet us. I really wish we could have taken this tour—maybe someday!

Private Tour - Our guide, Saf, was great! He was informative gave us a great overview of the city and captured some great photo spots for us. It’s a great way to start day one of our visit to Edinburgh. It gave us the lay of the land so we can decide where to return to next.

Learn the City.First - Ask for a less thick accent to improve the enjoyabikity. Our private tour was in a black traditional taxi car, a private driver. It was hard to see out with the barrier between us and the driver. We saw many wonderful landmarks and learned much about the culture. Take this tour early in your journey. Calton Hill cafe with the glass walls.

The tour operator acted disgustingly. Edinburgh is a beautiful city and you will definitely enjoy it. - We were on a cruise ship on our way to a wonderful family excursion to Edinburgh and 24 hours before the excursion this tour operator sent an email that our excursion was cancelled! According to them, the driver was sick (while Viator and TripAdvisor continued to provide information that our excursion would take place). I think that the tour operator simply threw us out because we planned this trip in advance (10 months before) and after that the price increased, instead of acting decently and fulfilling their obligations or after the price changed (about 5 months ago) canceling this excursion giving us the opportunity to choose another plan for this day. We simply did not have time left (I saw the email about the cancellation 14 hours before the excursion) and our day in this beautiful city was completely ruined!!!! The tour operator acted disgustingly and at the same time they had a driver who was "not sick" for the trip after lunch. Viator/TripAdvisor - couldn't suggest any other travel option and didn't know about the cancellation until I chatted with them. My advice - don't book too far in advance with this tour operator, check with them a few weeks before your trip. Edinburgh is a beautiful city and you will definitely enjoy it.
