- Mercat Cross - Here you will learn about the gruesome time that the people of Edinburgh would partake in as well as what life was like for the people living in the city during the 17th Century.
You will find out about one of Edinburgh’s most infamous streets which is riddled with dark history and ghost stories alike.
- Advocate’s Close - You will be taken down Advocates Close where you will be told the dark tale of one of Edinburgh’s most famous ghost stories which still haunts the streets to this day.
- Victoria street - You will be taken down to Victoria Street, the inspiration for Diagon Alley from Harry Potter, where you will be told about another famous wizard, but this story is a far stretch from the boy wizard.
- Grassmarket - You will be taken to the 600-year-old market place to find out more about Edinburgh’s form of entertainment, and you will be told about a riot that occurred at one of these events resulting in a dark story of betrayal and murder. You will find out about Jesse King the last woman to be executed in Edinburgh and Maggie Dickson.
- Greyfriars Kirkyard - This is our final stop where you will be told about one of the most violent Poltergeist hauntings in Britain, War and Murder, Body snatching and Graverobbing, and even people being buried alive in one of the world’s most haunted cemeteries.

LOOK NO FURTHER - YOU'VE FOUND THE BEST HISTORY/GHOST TOUR GROUP WITH EERIE EARTH TOURS!! - ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING TOUR!
If you're looking for one of the most informative, interesting and outright amazing tours of the dark history and ghosts of Edinburgh - look no further! The Eerie Earth Tours hosted by Keiran was beyond my expectations. Keiran is not only passionate about the history of this beautiful city, but he is so knowledgeable in all aspects of the past and the questionable experiences he and others have had. I don't think I would be able to appreciate landmarks, streets and monnuments around the city without the background that Keiran provided. The intriquite details - the story telling... he kept us engaged and spellbound by his renditions of the past.
Look no further - and trust me when I say that you shouldn't choose any other history/tour company than Eerie Earth Tours. They really are the best.

Great first day tour - Kieran was an awesome guide. Though the tour travels through busy areas, Kieran took us to the quiet spots to tell the stories and envisage the storied past of Edinburgh. A keen mix of history and mystery that energized both my wife and I, after our long first day travels, had me asking a series of questions and considering all the possibilities about paranormal stories and where they come from. Thanks again to Kieran for an excellent time and know that I'll be looking to see what other experience offerings there may be in the future!

Knowledge and Stories - Kieran is a very professional guide and will share many stories of history and the darker parts of Edinburgh. One of the best things is also even if the group is small, he doesn't cancel, so that means you can book with confidence that yiu won't have a last minute cancellation and have to book something else. Recommend this tour.
