- Charlotte Square - The tour begins in Edinburgh’s West End, where the city and its neighborhoods will be introduced. In Charlotte Square, participants will admire elegant neoclassical architecture and learn why Edinburgh is often called the ‘Athens of the North.’

- Charlotte Square - The tour begins in Edinburgh’s West End, where the city and its neighborhoods will be introduced. In Charlotte Square, participants will admire elegant neoclassical architecture and learn why Edinburgh is often called the ‘Athens of the North.’
- Georgian House - While in Charlotte Square, the tour will highlight the Georgian House, the most iconic mansion of the New Town. Visitors will gain insight into the layout of Georgian townhouses and the lifestyle of high society in 18th and 19th century Edinburgh.
- Princes Street Gardens - As one of Edinburgh’s main parks, Princes Street Gardens will be traversed from east to west. Stops will be made to admire the Ross Fountain and other public art. The gardens also offer a splendid view of the castle and castle rock.
- National Galleries of Scotland: National - At the Scottish National Gallery, the tour will explore artworks by some of Scotland’s most renowned artists, including Sir Henry Raeburn, Alexander Nasmyth, and the Glasgow Boys.
- High Street - The tour will proceed to the Royal Mile for lunch. This area is famous for its pubs and restaurants, providing an opportunity to savor delicious Scottish cuisine.
- Mercat Cross - Post-lunch, the tour continues along the Royal Mile to see the Mercat Cross, historically used for public announcements and punishments. The significance of the unicorn atop this structure will also be explained.
- St Giles’ Cathedral - Facing the Mercat Cross is St. Giles Cathedral. The tour will discuss the architecture of Scotland’s most important church and delve into the history of the Presbyterian religion. A walk to West Parliament Square will cover the Act of Union.
- Heart of Midlothian - Adjacent to St. Giles is the Heart of Midlothian, marking the site of the former Old Tolbooth.
- Royal Mile - Moving past St. Giles, the tour will continue along the Royal Mile, exploring its medieval cobbled lanes, known as closes, and their historical uses. The city’s cultural scene, including its festivals, will also be discussed.
- Greyfriars Bobby - The tour will proceed along George IV Bridge to meet Edinburgh’s most famous and loyal dog, Bobby, and view the statue located just outside the graveyard.
- Greyfriars Kirkyard - Behind Bobby, the entrance to Greyfriars Kirkyard will be found. This historic graveyard will provide insights into Mortsafes and the connection between the Scottish Covenanters and the George Mackenzie Mausoleum.
- Grassmarket - Following the graveyard, the tour will reach the Grassmarket, known for its pubs and intriguing history.
- Victoria Street - From the graveyard, the tour will head to the Grassmarket, an area noted for its pubs and storied past. From there, the tour will ascend Victoria Street, Edinburgh’s most picturesque and colorful street.
- Writers’ Museum - Returning to the Royal Mile, the tour will arrive at Makars’ Court. With the Writer’s Museum as a backdrop, Scotland’s most significant writers, including Robert Burns, Sir Walter Scott, and Robert Louis Stevenson, will be discussed.
- Edinburgh Castle Esplanade - Leaving Makars’ Court, the tour will proceed along the upper part of the Royal Mile to the Castle Esplanade. Before entering the castle, participants will enjoy breathtaking city views and see the site of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
- Edinburgh Castle - Finally, the tour will enter Edinburgh Castle. Inside, the history and secrets of the building will be explored, along with captivating stories of kings, queens, battles, and sieges. After the guided tour, participants will have the chance to explore the castle’s indoor areas at their leisure.

- The duration of the tour will be approx 5 - 5:30 hours, including the lunch break. We may need more time to access the historical sites and navigate the city during peak travel season (April to October), when more travellers are in town. Please note that in these months, the tour might be slightly longer.
- The company is not responsible for participants arriving late and missing the beginning of the tour. If you miss the group at the starting point, please note that the first stop of the group would be Charlotte Square
