It was amazing. I highly recommend - Stuart is the quintessential Scottish guide! He was so knowledgeable with decades of family history in Edinburgh. He was funny, charming and adapted our tour to our interests. He even stayed past our tour time for a cup of tea and stories.

Amazing first day in Edinburgh - We had Douglas for our tour and he was amazing! We did an in depth tour of Edinburgh castle and then stopped at a few other places around the city. Douglas was incredible with his stories and knowledge of Scottish history, his story telling ability made everything so interesting. Best way to get introduced to Edinburgh!

Amazing walking tour - We did a 3.5 hour private tour with Dr Alison Duncan. WOW, she was incredible; informative, funny, engaging, and deeply passionate about the history of Edinburgh. She had so many stories and Edinburgh tidbits that by 5:30, I hardly knew 3.5 hours had gone by. Honestly, this woman needs her own tv show. I highly recommend this tour if you want to learn about the city from a professional historian who will show you aspects of the old town you would otherwise miss. She truly brought the history of the city to life! Thank you, Alison ! — Steve, Gary, and family

Incredible tour that made our trip - A fantastic experience with Dr Allison as our guide. Her historical knowledge was incredible and made the tour. She let us go at our own pace, was engaging with every story and anecdote, and the 3.5 hours flew by. She personalised the tour and very much tailored her commentary and what we saw to our interests. Every member of the family including two teens said it was the highlight of our time in Edinburgh. Highly recommend.
