Awesome introduction to the city! - This was such a terrific introduction to Edinburgh. It was both fascinating and entertaining to learn about Scotland’s deep roots in beer and brewing culture and to sample the products along the way. Christy was an outstanding guide. She was so kind, upbeat, knowledgeable, and fun. We literally and figuratively walked through Scotland’s history (both beer-related and otherwise) from the earliest days of Edinburgh to the present day. She led us to amazing historical spots I never would have seen on my own and provided so much insight and detail at each turn. Anyone who can make the topic of Adam Smith entertaining is a truly talented guide (and she did!). She also taught me so many wonderful tidbits along the way (I now know the roots of no fewer than three common idioms we all say without understanding). The beer was also great—a huge variety of beers and locations to enjoy. This was such a phenomenal way to experience the city and a fantastic way to start off our trip to Scotland. Thank you so much, Christy!
