A great way to see Edinburgh - Absolutely first class service from the wonderful staff at Bright Bus. Every member of staff that we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The hop on/ hop off tours were great fun, and very useful for seeing the sights and extremely informative. Purchase in advance for the best price.

Great way to see this beautiful city. - Definitely invest in the extra $4 to get the option for 48 hours both routes. Perfect way to see a bit of everything and then come back to the places that you want to explore further.

Tour of the city and the HMY Britannia. Guides were friendly and very punctual. - We loved the tour of the city on the way to seeing the Britannia. The tour was very well marked and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch in the tea room. We could’ve even spent a little more time during the boat rush after a few hours to get back on the bus. Lovely day.

Is booking the hop on hop or bus Brittania tours in Edinbourg a good plan? - It is a good way to explore the city. Then you get a good idea of what you want to see! Would recommend it to anyone.

Just what we needed - Great for what my wife and I needed. Some history of the city and transportation from the Britannia station.

Great - So convenient, and a great way to get your bearings when visiting a new city. The only issue we had was the language track would switch to a different language if we hit a bump, but that probably was specific to just on bus.

Okay but buses need updating. - Cheaper than rival, but bus was older, often connections were broken, route changed without being informed on the Sunday and some drivers unhelpful - one 'appeared' not to understand English. Buses were frequent and hop on hop off was effective.

Be careful... - The advertisement, when I booked this trip, did not state that there was two separate tours being run through Edinburgh via this company. One was for the city itself and one for viewing the Royal Yacht Britannia. When I attempted to board a gentleman was quite rude and asked why I had not booked the city bus tour, I was confused, and explained I was not aware of this being a separate one. He told me he needed to drive off and asked his guide, a lovely gentleman named Keith to deal with me. Keith really saved the day for the company, he explained I was not the first to experience these issues and I wouldn't be the last. He offered an upgrade to the next bus which would enable me to do both the city and the yacht if I wanted which I took but my experience had already been marred by this point. I got off the bus early as I was a bit upset. I would not book again.
