Top-tier tour from a Native!! - Went for a winsomely tour around the prodigiously beautiful capital of Edinburgh. Our affable tour guide took us around the Old Town - off Princes Street, took us up to near Edinburgh Castle and recounted an informative and vivid account of the City’s history - from the medieval to the modern day. You come to realise how pivotal the castle was to not only Edinburgh’s history but Scotland’s and England’s too! Before the tour ended, we ventured down to Victoria Street. For any Harry Potter heads, this is the street which inspired J.K. Rowling’s Diagon Alley. There’s also a theme shop located there for any would-be souvenir buyers! For anyone wanting a bite to eat or are looking for a tipple, ask the guide. His local knowledge of all the themed gastro, metal, geek or historical establishments is well-worth drawing upon! I heartily recommend Scotch and Scran for any tourist who’s in Edinburgh for any amount of time!

Food and whisky tour - Had an amazing time with Iain! Super knowledgeable, a good laugh and gave us a proper local perspective of Edinburgh. The drinks and food were on point and it gave us the kickstart we needed for a great night out on the cobbled streets.

Weekend in Edinburgh - Informative, engaging and most importantly, good craic. Iain was a fantastic host with an interesting background and tons of experience in Whiskey production. Wondering through the streets of Edinburgh was charming even in the wind and rain! As an Irishman, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed trying all the different Scotch Whiskey (Irish whiskey is still superior) Strongly recommend trying the haggis if you've never had it before - sounds disgusting, tastes delicious!

Interesting city tour with whisky tasting - Very interesting tour with many nice anecdotes and subsequent whisky tasting. If you are looking in a small group and not the amount of whisky addiction, but the special, you are in very good hands here. Thank you Ian

A memorable first visit - This was my first time visiting Scotland and I'm glad I did. The weather was great, the tour guide sounded like he really knew his stuff and the food - incredible! Personally, I'm not a whiskey fan but I enjoyed the experience nonetheless because of how interesting the combinations were with the food. Apart from that the sights were breathtaking. Iain, was an interactive and knowledgeable host, he made sure that everyone felt attended to. I'd definitely recommend this tour to my friends! Thank you Scotch and Scran!

As a first timer in Edinburgh it was a great starter kit to learn the ins and outs of the city while learning its history in a more fun way. The tasting was also great experience considering the host has great knowledge of Whisky. A 10/10 experience- I highly recommend!!
