- Craigie’s Farm not used - The journey begins at Craigie’s Farm, a functioning farm featuring some Highland Cows. Visitors can also enjoy a farm shop and café, perfect for grabbing a coffee or a snack to go. If the cows are not visible in the field, the tour will proceed to Pollok Park in Glasgow for a chance to see them.

- Midhope Castle - Midhope Castle, a 16th-century tower house, is famously known as ‘Lallybroch’, the home of Jamie Fraser in the Outlander TV series. The castle is closed for winter until Spring 2025, but visitors can still view it from the gate.
- The Kelpies & The Helix - The tour continues to the magnificent Kelpies, the largest horse sculptures in the world.
- Glasgow Cathedral - Next, the tour heads to Glasgow, with the first stop at Glasgow Cathedral. Constructed in the 1100s, it remarkably survived the Protestant Reformation and stands as the most complete medieval cathedral on the Scottish mainland.
- Provand’s Lordship - Visitors also have the opportunity to explore Provand’s Lordship, the oldest house in Glasgow, built in 1471.
- St. Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art - Adjacent to Provand’s Lordship, the St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art is available for those interested.
- City Centre Mural Trail - The tour includes a drive through the renowned Glasgow Mural Trail, showcasing stunning murals throughout Glasgow City Centre.

Discover some of our cherished and rare ‘Hairy Coos’. This now uncommon breed has become a beloved emblem of Scotland. Visit the 12th-century Glasgow Cathedral to uncover its remarkable history. Explore the 19th-century Glasgow Necropolis, where you can enjoy stunning views of the city. Visit the museum of religious art and the oldest surviving house in Glasgow, dating back to the 15th century. Next, embark on a tour of the Glasgow Murals, featuring enormous, lifelike paintings hidden throughout the city center. As we leave the city, we will take you to the Kelpies, the largest horse statues in the world. Finally, we will make a stop at Midhope Castle, also known as ‘Lallybroch’ from the popular TV series Outlander.
- The total driving time of the tour is 2 hours 30 minutes.
- Midhope Castle is closed December to March, reopening in April. During these months, we can still take you to the gate to see Midhope Castle from a distance.
- Uk sedan sized cars are smaller than our American counterparts, please be aware of this when booking for 4 adults in a 4 passenger sized vehicle

Jimmy, our tour guide,... - Jimmy, our tour guide, was an absolute delight! He made our experience in Scotland a trip to remember. We loved hearing his stories as we traveled from Edinburgh to Glasgow. Thanks, Jimmy! Highly recommend this half day tour to see the countryside.

Hairy coos and stunning cathedrals - Our tour guide was Brian and we loved him! He was the nicest guy, so well-informed on the area, and was so proud to be Scottish. His wife even made homemade cookies for us! He also tailored the excursion to fit our interests and schedule to ensure we got to see as much as possible during the day. The “hairy coos” were adorable, the cathedral was gorgeous, and the Kelpies were stunning. Recommend this tour 100%!

Excellent tour - The tour was terrific. Our driver, Brian was very courteous, informative, and fun. He got us into a private farm to see the cow close-up., Then we went to the kelpies, and he walked with us to explain the story, after he added a side trip to see the Falkirk Wheel in action, before going onto Glasgow to see the cathedral and the murals. It was an exceptional tour that I can highly recommend.

Great day tour! - Simon was an amazing tour guide! We added my nephew at the last minute and he was able to find a booster seat for us. He was very knowledgeable about the city, the murals, and the architecture. We all loved getting to meet the highland cows and he suggested we do the Transport museum, which was great for kids and adults.

Wonderful day tour! - Simon was amazing! We added our nephew as a late addition to the tour and he sourced a booster seat at the eleventh hour! He also customized the tour to something that the kids would love and suggested that we do the Transport Museum, which was a big favorite of both the kids and the adults. We all loved getting to see the Highland cows, and we even got a couple of licks from the baby cows. Simon was super knowledgeable, driving through Glasgow and pointing out the cool architecture, murals and statues. This tour was a great way to experience a slice of what Glasgow has to offer!

Cows and horses - Tamari was very thoughtful and knowledgeable. He was prompt and courteous . We experienced the Scottish cows, saw the Kelsie's and had a nice time in Glasgow. The tour was well worth the time and money and I highly recommend it!

The tour of Glasgow was a... - The tour of Glasgow was a waste. The tour is very over priced.
Their were only 3 cows in the tour, we expected much more for the price. Don't book this tour. Tour guide was very average.

We don't enjoy it. - The truth wasn't worth it. From the beginning we said that what we were most interested in was seeing the hightland cows and it only took us to a place where there were two. He drove super rough and was rude to other drivers, I ordered a luxury car to go more comfortable, but the guide's driving style ruined everything.
