Embark on a unique journey with a small-group tour that explores the famous filming locations of Outlander, while also experiencing the breathtaking Scottish landscapes, rich culture, and fascinating history. Step back in time and trace the paths of Claire and Jamie by visiting the actual sites of Castle Leoch, Lallybroch, Cranesmuir, and 1940s Inverness, all in a single day.
- It is recommended to book transport to the departure point in advance. Please also allow extra time to get to the departure point for check-in. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour departure to allow time to check-in for the tour. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold the bus or refund for any late arrivals.
- Return times are approximate and subject to road conditions and weather. Please ensure you allocate sufficient time for any onward travel plans, allowing at least 3 hours after the scheduled return time for connections or activities.
- This tour may run in conjunction with our sister company, Highland Explorer Tours.
- Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them to board and disembark.
- Minimum age to travel is 5 years old, while anyone aged 5-17 must be accompanied by an adult.
- There are days when a castle may be closed for filming or other reasons. There will be replacement locations included instead.
- Please note that itinerary order may change.
- Travel insurance is recommended.
- If you are using an audio guide, please bring your headset.

Laurie was an amazing... - Laurie was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable and told stories the entire trip. She knows the area extremely well and got us to each destination on time with plenty of time to explore each location.

A Perfect Day Trip! - This was a perfect day tour! My friend I went with is an Outlander fan, but I have only seen a few episodes. Even if you know nothing about Outlander, it is an extremely interesting and well planned day! I picked it because it had the most stops when comparing Outlander day trips from Edinburgh, and I thought the time at each stop was perfect (not too long, not too short). We had Dusty as our driver and guide and he was amazing (at both)!! He did the perfect amount of narration while driving and knew so much Scottish history it was very impressive. He also knew a lot about Outlander and other facts related to the stops and the towns/spots we drove by. He was fantastic!

An incredible day out! - The tour guide Ryan P was fantastic! He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable of the history of Scotland and knew so many unique facts about the filming of Outlander. There was soooo much information covered and it was an all day trip. There can was comfortable and Ryan continually gave tips and advice on how to use the time wisely. 10/10 was an amazing experience!!!

Oulander one day trip - We had a guide, named Connor. He was a perfect guide, whit a lot of knowlidge. We went to a trip with «Outlander» theme, and we were very satisfied.

Finally Outlander in REAL! - Everything about this day trip turned out to be TOP : our guide and driver ‘TROVA’, the locations, the sunny weather. We spent a very blissful day in Outlander-World with the real places where the shooting took place and we recognized immediately! Especially Midhope Castle - Lallybroch - impressed me a lot!

I stood in the same place as Jamie’s ghost - Very pleasant day touring Outlander film sites. The pace of the tour was good, and our guide, Jenny, was great! She was very personable, accommodating and full of interesting stories. Recommend

With the illusion we had and Cullross changed us without warning... evio - We were very excited. We booked in August with all the tickets and days before we were told that Doune Castle would be closed and exchanged for Lilington Palace. The same day we are told that we are going to Calendar House, that it was not on the itinerary, and what was our surprise that we were not taken to Culros. I mean, we didn't do half the miles and the price was the same and we weren't informed of that change. I felt cheated, really. We had caught that one precisely even if it was with audio guide through the places where it went.
