Spectacular Tour of Edinburgh - Super unique and flexible tour that is tailored to your interests and a rare gem among the tour offerings in the city! Stephen was a kind, knowledgeable and flexible tour guide. He took us so many amazing places that only a local would know and it truly enriched our experience. This tour is a must for someone that wants to see all of the city. An added bonus was that Stephen knew all the good angles and viewing spaces that were not jammed with tourists so we could get great photos of our time here. Thanks so much Stephen!

Best private tour - This is one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. Stephen Picked us up at our hotel and 9am we were off. Very knowledge. He knew the history of all the buildings we would ask about ( even ones that were not part of the tour). He walked us down to some really great spots for some pictures. He even added a few spots that were not part of the tour that we wanted to see. Super friendly and really knows his stuff. Would highly recommend!

Edinburgh in a day done right! - With one day to see the city, Stephen was perfect; incredibly kind, a safe driver, knowledgeable of the city and its history, considerate to our family’s needs, and 100% Scottish! Totally worth it!

Excellent Tour - As this was our first trip to Scotland we were not sure what to expect but wanted to learn about the Edinburgh and it's past. It was our son Christopher's 21st birthday. Andy showed up early and gave us a warm greeting. We hopped in the van and took off. From the start Andy was talkative and full of information and history. Andy has a vast knowledge of Scottish history as well as information on just about every historical building in Edinburgh. When we ask our son what the highlight of his trip was,he always gets back to this tour. Honestly, we were all a bit sad when it ended. Andy has his preplanned route but was more than willing to make changes. We had heard about the Colinton Tunnel and he took us there and walked us through giving historical info. We could not have asked for a better tour guide. Thanks Andy!!

A Perfect Overview of Beautiful Edinburgh - Truly enjoyable, very professional and so entertaining describes our 4-hour tour with Andy. You’ve hit the jackpot if he’s your guide. Not only does he know his history but presents it in a way that seems more personal and relatable. Tips on where to shop for true Scottish goods, attractions not to be missed and restaurants that you probably should consider. Because of his suggestions, the next day, we booked a tour of the Royal Yacht Britannia and spent the evening at an amazing seafood restaurant, The Ship on the Shore. What a great day! Thanks, Andy!

Worth every penny! Book Andy. - Andy knows his native city and knows how to show it off. It was truly a fun and informative deep dive into Edinburgh’s old and new towns. Andy’s passion for his hometown comes through and he tailors the tour to your specific requests, or you can just let him guide you. And for us older folks, in a city with some very steep hills, a welcome break from a walking tour. Highly recommend.

The best guide in Edinburgh, Scotland - Andy was waiting at the pier as scheduled and had communicated with us prior to our debarkation. Very professional, kind and knowledgeable. He reviewed the history of the area in an interesting yet detailed manner. The vehicle was clean and comfortable . Ask for Andy if you want a great experience. When we return he will be our first contact to assure another great experience. Thank you Andy and Viator

A great way to get a condensed and overall look at Edinburgh. The private tour is the only way to go. - This was a great experience to learn about and see a lot of highlights of Edinburgh. Andy was very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with during the entire tour. The van was nice and clean. You just get in and go. No worrying about driving or parking. Andy takes care of that. 🙂. We were with 2 other couples so getting this private tour was a no brainer, plus the pricing is very reasonable for what you get. I wish we would have had time to do a full day tour instead of the half day tour. I recommend this experience and don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Superb tour! - We were on a cruise port stop traveling in a group of 6, with four young adults (19-23). Andy did an excellent job showing us several sites, giving lots of info and leaving us wanting to visit Edinburgh again very soon! The young adults were kept engaged without feeling lectured at. ;-) We stayed in Old City Edinburgh after Andy's tour to get some lunch on our own. We used an uber and made it back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. Do not hesitate to book this tour for a great day in Edinburgh!
