A great way to experience different eateries and unique food! - My friends and I loved this experience! Our guide, Reese, shared his knowledge of Edinburgh, while introducing us to the wonderful food we had heard about, but, hadn’t tried! My favorite was the Cullen Skink at the Cafe Royal. Delicious!! A huge thank you to Reese for adding to our cherished memories of our time in Edinburgh!

Delightful Edinburgh local favorites food tour - Ailsa was a delightful guide, beeming with a sparkle in her eye. I knew from the minute I met her that this was going to be a fun experience that I would not forget. It’s obvious she loves what she’s doing and her positive energy spread throughout our group of 6. She guided us through 5 stops- Cullen skink, haggis bon bons and the most like soft drink of Scotland irn-bru, steak and ale pie with a half pint of your choice, cheese and ice cream (tablet ice cream Highly recommend). All were must tries. She prefaced each experience with some history of the location and dishes or some info about the surrounding area. All the information was interesting and useful for future trivia pursuit games, possibly😊. If you’re interested a whiskey tasting, this is not the tour for you, but if you’re hoping for a delightful experience full of local information and favorites, don’t hesitate to book with Ailsa!

A taste of Scottish food and culture! - Ailsa was a wonderful guide, sharing bits of info about parts of the city as well as info about the food we were sampling. We wish we had done the tour at the beginning of our tour vs the end, but we have notes for next time. Definitely recommend this tour for tasting local favorites and new foods we had never had.
