• Glengoyne Distillery - The guide will satisfy the thirst for the “water of life” by taking visitors to Glengoyne Distillery. Here, they can enjoy a guided Whisky Distillery Tour, learn about Scotch Whisky production, and sample a wee dram or two to warm up after the hike.
• The Kelpies & The Helix - These mythical creatures are common in Scottish waters and, depending on beliefs, can cause havoc for unsuspecting locals. The kelpie’s origins are thought to be linked to human sacrifices to water gods, but this practice eventually ceased. The kelpie story was then used to keep children from playing too close to lochs and dangerous rivers.
