The Karnak Temple complex on Luxor’s East Bank includes the Avenue of Sphinxes, the Hypostyle Hall with 134 massive columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis I, the Temple of Amon with lotus and papyrus motifs, the Granite Scabrous of Amenophis III, and the Sacred Lake. Karnak is a stunning ancient monument, surpassing all other pharaonic sites.
