5-Hour Food Tour...Really? Yes, Really Great! - Originally couldn’t imagine a 5-hour food tour but time went by almost too fast. The 8 of us were so lucky to have Angell as our guide. Angel is fun, a great story teller…some true and others I’m not so sure of. He knows his country’s food and history. This very fun tour included multiple tastings at 6 different restaurants and shops. I learned a lot and was introduced to many new dishes. Be prepared for some surprises along the way, including mystery dishes and a few edible insects.
Great tour: Food and History. I can see why this tour is so highly rated. I absolutely recommend the tour, especially if you can get Angel to lead you.

Great Way to Experience Local Food - I really enjoyed this food tour – it was a great way to experience a variety of local dishes. I tried around six or seven different foods, all of which were interesting and tasty.
The tour guide was lovely, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the area. It made a big difference having someone local who could explain everything so well.
It was also a nice touch that we got to take some bakery items away at the end. Overall, a great experience and something I would definitely recommend if you’re visiting.

Miriam was great! - Amazing tour of the historic district in Mexico City. I recommend to anyone. It’s lots of walking so keep that in mind, but also lots of different food to try and places to see. We had a private tour with Miriam and it was excellent!

Nice variety of foods to try! - Jímena was our food tour. We got off to a rough start because Apple Maps sent us to the wrong address, but we were able to meet up with the tour before they departed the first stop. After that, great experience! There are about 6-7 stops and all good 👍 Even my kids (age 6 and 9) liked it! Definitely something for everyone: sweet, savory and vegetarian were on the menu :)

We had a great day,... - We had a great day, eating and drinking our way through the Centro area, with knowledgeable and kind Angel as our guide. I recommend this tour for teenagers and above. It’s 5 hours of eating and walking and learning about Mexico City, so come hungry and rested! Food was amazing, and the beautiful drinks were an unexpected and very welcome treat.

Jimena is great!! - I was in Mexico City for the weekend. My friend is there for a few months and invited me to stay with her. She asked me what I wanted to see/do while I was going to be there and I mentioned that I wanted to try the food. She sent me the link to this tour. It was wonderful!!! Jimena was fabulous. She provided information about each stop and all the food we were being served. Everyone was stuffed by the end but the walking helped from feeling overwhelmed with it all. I highly recommend this tour—especially if you enjoy food!! Our group was fun. Jimena also made sure food allergies and preferences were considered at each stop.

Dining tour historic center Tamara - I loved the Food tour in historic center, Tamara was our guide and is super friendly, pretty and very studious knows a lot of fun historical context. He speaks English very well and makes the tour more entertaining. The food is delicious, tastes all kinds and is not spicy. The portions are per person and very well served. We ended up happy and full of food. Thank you.

Fantastic food experience—unique tastes of Mexico Coty - This was a wonderful tour led by Jimena. We had a great variety of foods, styles, savory and sweet, street food, traditional, gourmet. There was just the right amount of walking (less than I anticipated for a five hour experience but enough to help with the digestion). We heard about the history of each place we visited, as well as historical, regional, and gastronomical context. Several places were women owned. Foods were definitely Mexican but also things we wouldn’t have sought out on our own. Everything was super tasty. Be prepared to be full by the time you’re done (so pace yourself). Great value, too. Highly recommended. Thanks to Jimena for a fantastic experience!
