Great family experience! - Wonderful tour and both our guide Juan and driver Omar out were excellent. Our guide Juan was extremely knowledgeable and great with the whole family and included our teenage sons in the discussion. We arrive early at the site and we had full access. When we got to the conote, we had it virtually to ourselves. The lunch provider was also very good. Would highly recommend this experience especially for a family group.

Amazing day at Ek Balam, Cenote and Valladolid with Arturo - My family had an amazing day with Arturo as our guide and Enrique as our driver visiting Ek Balam, a cenote nearby and then Valladolid from near Playa del Carmen. Arturo had excellent knowledge of Ek Balam and mayan history and culture. We so enjoyed his excellent touring, completely fluent English from many years in the U.S., and friendly, easygoing attitude. We had some dietary restrictions in our group, including vegetarians and pescatarian, and had lunch in Valladolid at Yerba Buena which was so delicious and had such a friendly ownership. The private tour was great and we felt Arturo gave us great attention and understanding of our needs. We would highly recommend Absolute Adventuree and would love to do another tour whenever we're next in the area! Muchas gracias!

Fantastic tour! - We had Arturo as our guide, and he was fantastic! Incredibly affable, knowledgeable, perfect English, flexible, and delightful. We learned so much and had the most delightful day from start to finish. I couldn’t recommend this company and this Guide more highly!

Bright and memorable - It was a really great experience. At Ek Balam, there are not many people, so you avoid crowds, unlike at Chichen-Itza. Arturo, our guide, is very knowledgeable and intelligent. He shared our physical exercise of climbing the pyramids and entertained us with many tales about Mexico and Yucatan.

Excellent Ek Balam private tour with Cenote swim - The tour was wonderful from the first minute. Our guide Arturo and driver Rodrigo were right on time to pick us up at an out of the way hotel. Arturo was very informative during the tour with answers to all our questions. We were able to climb on parts of the Ek Balam ruins. The swim in the nearby Cenote was also amazing. We spent a while as it was beautiful & refreshing. Arturo took photos for us & helped us traverse the Cenote. On the way back we stopped for a great lunch at a small restaurant in town. Rodrigo never left the van with all our belongings and Arturo was very kind. This was probably the single best tour we’ve ever had in Mexico compared to past tours with other companies to Tulum & Chichen Itza

Best experience!!! - Absolute Adventures was fantastic! We did not want to do the cenote that was with the Ek Balam tour so they allowed us to change it to another cenote more appropriate for the young children with us. Arturo was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and wonderful to us, especially the children. I highly recommend this company, and I would ask for Arturo every time!

An experience to remember! - What a wonderful adventure. Climbing the ruins and swimming in the Cenote were both unforgettable experiences, and our tour guides (Juan and Arturo) were both knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, a terrific day we'll never forget.

An excursion not to be missed!!! - My husband and I truly recommend this excursion. Our guide Oscar was knowledgeable and friendly. After seeing the ancient community of EK Balam we enjoyed swimming in a cenote. That was followed by a traditional Mexican lunch. It was worth every penny!

You won't regret going on this tour! - This tour was such a great experience! We were impressed that before we began our journey they stopped to offer us coffee and sweet bread, too bad we had all eaten breakfast beforehand! We were a little worried about the 2-hour car ride getting to Ek Balam but Alex, our guide gave us so much information about the history of the site, Mayans and the area surrounding the site that we were so entertained that time flew by. The ruins were amazing and we were glad we got there so early, by the time we left, lots of people were just arriving. Alex was SO knowledgable, so respectful and so patient with us throughout our tour. Once we were done with the ruins, Alex provided us with snacks which was perfect as we were craving something small to eat. We then rode bikes to the Cenote which was beautiful and refreshing. Life jackets were readily available and it was such a fun time swimming with our group. We got back in the van and traveled 20 minutes to eat lunch in a small nearby town. The food was good, I think we would have probably enjoyed eating at a restaurant with a lot more variety of food but the restaurant itself was very clean and we received great service. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone who would like to travel to Ek Balam! From start to finish, booking and communication were easy. Thank you Alex, we really enjoyed your company and hope to see you again in the future!
