Upon reaching the glacier’s edge, participants will don crampons and helmets. Once on the ice, a short safety briefing will be provided before starting the walk with the guide.
With the assistance of the mountain guides, participants will relish this natural ice wonderland.
The glacier tour lasts about an hour and a half, during which a variety of typical glacier formations such as crevasses, sinkholes, seracs, and lagoons can be observed.
After the ice walk, participants will return to the refuge.
Soon after, they will board to head back to the port and admire the glacier’s walls.
