Located on Gezira Island (Zemalak), just north of the Museum of Modern Art, the tower provides a sweeping view of Cairo. This 187-meter tall structure, designed as a latticework tube that slightly fans out at the top, is said to resemble a lotus plant and ranks as the fourth tallest tower in the world. Constructed from granite, a material frequently used by the ancient Egyptians, it stands about 45 meters taller than the Great Pyramid at Giza. After the tour, guests will be returned to their hotel.
