Wow!! What can I say?! What an amazing trip!! - Wow!! What can I say?! What an amazing trip!! I can’t recommend the 2-day excursion enough – it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip to Tunisia! Everything was so well organized from start to finish, and we got to see and experience so much in just two days. A special mention has to go to Teddi, our tour guide – he was absolutely fantastic! His knowledge, passion, and sense of humor made the whole journey even more enjoyable. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable, informed, and having a great time. You could really tell he loves what he does. From exploring breathtaking landscapes, to visiting fascinating historical sites, to enjoying delicious local food, every moment was unforgettable. It was the perfect mix of culture and adventure. My favourite was the camel ride which is included in the price if you book through trip advisor and watching the sun rise was absolutely magical. All meals and accommodation is included. The hotel we stayed at was very good. Clean and good food, with access to the pool until late. Take money for drinks as those are not included but not expensive. We also decided to do the quad biking and carage ride but you don't have to if you dont want to. The carage ride was around £10 and the quad bike was roughly £30. Both worth it in my opinion but its down to personal taste and budget. The bus we traveled on had air con and USB charging ports which is handy. I highly recommend this trip if you really want to get a taste of Tunisia!!

Great experience - The experience was very enjoyable and not a single minute went wasted. Our tour guide Muhtadi was extremely kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable. We didn't have any issues with language barriers as he spoke French, Italian, Spanish, English, and Arabic fluently. The whole experience offers excellent value for money. Just be sure to take lots of water and be prepared to start early in the morning and finish past sunset both days, so you should leave enough time before and after the experience to catch up on some much needed rest.

Great experience but... - Beautiful experience but very challenging, both for the temperatures and for the amount of kilometers covered in two days. Overall very positive experience, especially the ride in 4x4.

Grandiose - Everything was beautiful. Passing from the amphitheatre of EL JEM to the mosque of Kairouan passing of course the cave houses and the Desert. This excursion is certainly long but worth it. A big bravo to our escort Mokdedi and driver Khaled who were excellent guides. Feel free to take the quad and camel options.. A little negative point about the carriage ride...

Great activities with no time to enjoy them - What we actually did was good but very rushed, we literally had to run up a mountain and get chucked back up into the 4x4. Not much time to enjoy anything, we were always running behind so no real planning was given it would seem. and anytime we were given time was the guide trying to sell us things, like you can't look at this beautiful oasis as I need to rush you to a carpet shop so they can sell you things. The 4 x 4 trip in the desert was incredibly fun, only saw one Star Wars thing, so not really a trip specifically for that. for the quad biking we were given drinks then later the guy came back demanding money then the guide said you should check first as if just being handed something we should assume would cost. The guide just talked away quietly into the mic even when told we couldn't hear he just didn't care. He wanted our money and that is it. You do cool things, but have no customer service at all. I will try to do this in order of events. Start with prior to this, we tried asking questions like how much money to bring, but just said bring money and ignored other questions, so we felt very unprepared. Then not knowing what time we are collected until 7pm the evening before and that was only as we asked. The bus was late with no communication, then put onto another bus. As said before couldn't hear him speaking and we would strain to listen. and unsure as we said we couldn't hear he would say the same things constantly and keep changing the times of when we needed to do things so it was very confusing and when we would ask him to confirm times he seemed annoyed we were asking. As impressively, he just switches back and forth between languages so easy to get lost trying to hear over the loud engine of the bus. The coliseum was beautiful just enough time to see it all, but was already behind. We stopped at the mountain, got grabbed, and a bird put on us then demanded money as we took photos. Great view though. Where we went for food was really nice, underground place food wasn't bad really cute experience. Went to the troglodytes' home, which was cool to see, odd to be tramping through their home. The food was nice to try, but trying to potentially buy. Expected to tip the people as you leave. We get to the hotel you have to pay tax on the room. Power has gone from the hotel for quite a while. Rooms weren't very nice for a 4 star at all but the pool area was picture worthy. Out for the paid extra for quad biking experience, then the camels, which is extra but free if you book through a different app. Quads isn't fast paced at all, you just all slowly follow each other around the sand, and are told to slow down if trying to actually have fun. Camels are the normal amount of abused for these kind of things I have since found out, noses pierced and pulled along by them. On getting back on to come back mine got so angry it spat bile out at us, felt quite guilty going back on it. Sun set was lovely over the sahara though Scarves for the quads and camel are provided, you do not need to pay for any, but if you do want to buy, then they are just 1DT by the coliseum, at the hotel they are 10DT. Back at the hotel had dinner, which wasn't bad, but even to drink water, you had to pay. The hotel came to life in the evening, everyone in the pool with loud music, didn't stay as we were up early but it looked really lovely time. Was told to get up at 4am to eat and put bags on the bus to go see the sun rise. Food wasn't available until 4:20am the bus wasn't even open we waited but ended up taking our bags as others left by the bus as still wasn't there with the sun rising. The sun rise was beautiful though. On the very long bus ride finally to the 4x4 we were very lucky the driver made the experience really good others weren't as impressed. We got to the mountain with the oasis it was really beautiful but we were being rushed the whole time, told to bring swimwear on the itinerary but given no time to go in the water we all carried our stuff for no reason. Then to the Star Wars set it was ok stalls in the way of it so no nice pictures were able to be taken got followed by someone with a camel shouting 10DT at us, the guide saw this but did nothing to help. Can't be helped, but loads of biting bugs there. My husband who is the star wars fan said in the current state of it all there is just no point in going, not worth the hours of time it took to get there the only good bit of it was getting there in the 4x4. Then the cart ride which seemed like was included but this was extra to be paid for this was another way to sell us things, another person tried to ask questions to the guide about soemthing but he was abrupt and rude telling her to tell her later (he never did). Off we rushed to what we thought was a mosque but was someone trying to sell us carpets for what felt like ages and a gift shop, the mosque was the next stop but we then got put on a different bus as they were going to sousse and the other bus to hammet. We were on a bus with no one who spoke our language, we were 10-15 minutes away from our drop off when the bus seemed to have a bit of an argument and the bus turned around and we drove over 40 minutes in the oposite direction. We were so shattered by the end of this feeling like we had no idea what was going on we forgot a bag on the bus. Tried contacting everyone about it and being left on read. Once they have your money they obviously no longer care
