Unbelievable, Journey to Egypt made our trip seamless and unforgettable - Alfred was our tour guide for our first day in Cairo and we were lucky enough to have him when we returned to Cairo after our cruise. We cannot praise him enough, such a charming, experienced, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and entertaining lovely chap! Not only did he regale us with the history of every site we visited in Cairo and Alexandria, but had an answer for every question we posed. He knew all the best spots for photos, avoided the lines and timed all our visits so not to clash with the throngs of other tour groups. Alfred ensured that we weren’t hassled by vendors, which could be an issue if you travel without a guide. The Egyptian hospitality was genuinely heartfelt everywhere. Alfred knew everyone everywhere and was greeted by so many people who praised him and told us how lucky we were to have him as our guide. So true. We can’t recommend him enough! So happy we found Journey to Egypt, which we researched and all the reviews were so positive that we’re thankful we chose this company. They provided us with a seamless and easy trip, working with our needs, adding in a couple of extra spots that we decided last minute that we wanted to visit. All the drivers both on the cruise portion and the Cairo/Alexandria parts of the trip navigated the horrendous traffic with skill and we were never worried. Not only did Alfred know everything about these areas but we also learned about numerous varieties of birds native and migratory in the region, as this is another of his areas of expertise. If you want to visit Egypt - and you really should, this is the company to use! Request Alfred for Cairo and Alexandria and John for the cruise portion.

Perfect! - I cannot recommend Osama and Journey to Egypt highly enough. Everything was organised so well - from airport pick ups and transfers, hotels, tours, flights. Our private tour guides were Mayer in Cairo and George in Luxor. The amount of information they gave was extraordinary as well as being lovely people. Egypt is an incredible place and the history is just phenomenal. A must do bucket list trip and do it with this company.

Excellent experience! - We were so well taken care of on this trip! We spent two full days with Alfred in Cairo, and one full day with John in Luxor. They were equally delightful, knowledgeable, and accommodating to all our requests. They taught us so much, and kept our young kids completely engaged. Our drivers were great, too, with clean vans and cold waters. We highly recommend this tour!

Cairo to Luxor with Marco - Our guide Marco was just incredible. He shared his knowledge so generously and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience of Egypt. We were so grateful for the time and energy he put in to giving us the best trip we could possibly have had.
