This site features nine pyramids, including those of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykrenes, as well as smaller queen pyramids. The tour also includes a visit to the Sphinx, with its human face and lion’s body, and concludes with the Valley Temple or the Mummification Temple of King Chephren. Guests will also visit a panoramic mountain for ample photo opportunities, including fun shots holding the pyramids.
Memphis and Sakkara - The tour continues to Memphis City, the ancient capital of Egypt, home to the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx. This city dates back to 3100 B.C. (1hr). At the end of the tour, guests will be returned to their hotel.

Islamic Cairo - In the afternoon, the tour proceeds to Islamic Cairo, starting with the 12th-century Citadel of Saladin. Within this medieval fortress is the Alabaster Mosque, built by Mohamed Ali on a site once occupied by Mameluke and Ottoman palaces.
Arriving Aswan / Nile Cruise Embarkation
Aswan High Dam - Constructed to manage the Nile River’s annual floods, the Aswan High Dam transformed Egypt’s Nile Valley and created the vast Lake Nasser. The dam’s impressive scale offers sweeping views of the lake and surrounding desert.
Unfinished Obelisk - The largest known ancient obelisk, located in the northern region of Aswan’s stone quarries, was commissioned by the female pharaoh Hatshepsut. Modern engineers debate whether the Dynastic Egyptians could have completed this task.
Temple of Philae - Dedicated to the goddess Isis, the Temple of Philae is beautifully situated and was relocated by UNESCO after the Aswan Dam’s construction threatened its original site. Lunch is served on board, followed by a sail on the Nile by felucca around Kitchener’s Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Afternoon tea and dinner are provided on board, with an overnight stay in Aswan.
Kom Ombo and Edfu
Temple of Kom Ombo - Sail to Kom Ombo and enjoy breakfast onboard. Visit the Kom Ombo temple dedicated to the god Sobek and the Crocodile Museum. Lunch is served onboard the cruise ship before sailing to Edfu.
Temple of Horus - Travel by horse-drawn carriage to visit the Edfu Temple dedicated to the god Horus.
Esna Lock - Sail to Esna, enjoy dinner onboard, and stay overnight on the cruise in Esna.
Luxor West Bank
Valley of the Kings - Explore the Valley of the Kings, a treasure trove of archaeological wonders with numerous tombs adorned with art and hieroglyphics.
Temple of Hatshepsut - The Temple of Hatshepsut, meaning “Holy of Holies,” is a mortuary temple from the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt. Located opposite Luxor, it is a masterpiece of ancient architecture with three massive terraces rising into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. The temple’s axes serve dual functions, including receiving the barque of Amun-Re during the Beautiful Festival of the Valley.
Colossi of Memnon - Two magnificent twin statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, with smaller statues at their feet representing his wife and mother, stand gracefully on the Luxor horizon. Each statue is 60 feet tall and marks the entrance to Amenhotep III’s mortuary temple.
Luxor East Bank / Hurghada
Temple of Karnak - During the New Kingdom, the Karnak Temple Complex was the center of ancient faith while power was concentrated at Thebes (modern-day Luxor). Its significance is reflected in its enormous size, serving as a religious center, treasury, administrative hub, and palace for New Kingdom pharaohs. It remains the largest temple complex ever constructed.
Luxor Temple - Located on the East bank of the Nile River in southern Egypt, Luxor city, known as the World’s Largest Outdoor Museum, houses the beautiful Luxor Temple, a graceful monument of Ancient Egyptian civilization.
