3 iconic Ella tour - Visited Ella Rock, Adams Peak and 9 Arch bridge today. I had Hafeel as my guide and couldnt have asked for a better one. First hiked Ella rock in the morning, We took a different route than where all tourists start at and im so glad we did. I was the only one on it, and when coming down im glad we went up the other way as it was so much easier, not too steep, trees everywhere with good breeze unlike the one track everyone goes up and down on as it is constantly climbing up on steep rocks. Then we tuktuked to Adams peak afterwards and that was an easy hike good views and from there we walked again to a different route to everyone, to Nine Arch Bridge which was a fare bit to walk but an enjoyable one as it wasnt too hot and the sun wasnt fully out. 9 Arch bridge was the highlight in my opinion. Had lunch and then walked back to the city through a different route that most tourists dont go. There were a few tourists this day but none on the paths I took. Hafeel had an awsome saying which was "If you go back down the same way you went up, then that isnt trekking".. which i totally agree as the views are the same. The tour finished really early (1pm instead of 5pm) bt its how i liked it as I wanted a massage afterwards. Great guy very active and good for anyone.

Nice tour, but too much for one day! - The Three Iconic Day Tour was nice with wonderful view from Ella Rock and Little Adams Peak. It was also nice too see " Nine arch bridge". The tour started very well, and the guide told us a lot about things we saw during the tour to Ella rock. When we came down we thought we should have lunch ( we had walked about 4 hours then) But the guide told us that we should go up to Little Adams Peak first. When we signed up for this tour we read that lunch at a local restaurant was included. After little Adams Peak the guide gave us a packed lunch that we could eat beside a brick wall. I was tired and disappointed!!! After 15 minutes we felt that the guide was in a hurry, and it was time to go to "Nine arch bridge" That was also a long walking tout! During this all day tour it was almost no break! Maybe this is a tour for very good trained people who just want to go without a break! The all day tour started at 07.30 an was finished at about 14.30.
