• Galle - The journey begins in Galle, a premier tourist destination in Sri Lanka. Our driver(s) will arrive in an air-conditioned car or minivan, complete with luggage space, to pick you up from your hotel.
• Tissamaharama - Upon reaching Tissamaharama, you will disembark from the transfer vehicle and settle any meal payments (if requested) before embarking on the Safari. Then, board the SHARED SAFARI VEHICLE. We exclusively use the robust Toyota Hilux 4x4 for the safari, specially designed to handle the varied off-road conditions of YALA National Park with ease. Safari vehicles feature 6 individual seats, offering guests a 270-degree view. There is a 30-minute break during the Afternoon Safari for lunch. (Lunch can be purchased from us for USD 10 per person.)
• Yala National Park - This marks the first game drive of the day, lasting 2 hours.

The aim is to be in YALA National Park at dawn or dusk, the optimal times for spotting the elusive Sri Lankan leopards, a subspecies native to Sri Lanka. YALA is home to approximately a hundred individual leopards.

• Patanangala - At the conclusion of the first game drive, enjoy a break to refresh at Patanangala beach within YALA National Park, overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Breakfast can be enjoyed during this break. While breakfast is not included in the tour, it can be requested for an additional charge of 8 USD per person.

Enjoy a Sri Lankan picnic breakfast featuring Plain Hopper, Egg Hopper, Rotti, Coconut Sambol, Sini Sambol, and Sri Lankan fruits.

• Yala National Park - Following the break, embark on the second game drive of the day, lasting 1 hour.

Witness the majestic elephants, graceful spotted deer, and elusive sloth bears, among many other captivating species. Your knowledgeable driver-guide will share insights into the behaviors and habitats of YALA’s diverse wildlife, enhancing your safari experience. Each moment promises an unforgettable encounter, as YALA offers a sanctuary where the extraordinary is commonplace.

• Tissamaharama - After the second game drive, exit YALA National Park and travel back to Tissamaharama in the safari vehicle. Disembark from the safari vehicle and board the transfer vehicle.
• Ella - This will be your final drop-off location.

As an authorized company to offer safari services in YALA National Park, all of our 4X4 vehicles have necessary approvals & all of our drivers have the special licenses to provide their service as safari drivers in the YALA National Park - issued by the Department of Wildlife Conservation in Sri Lanka.

• Please be informed that the entrance fees for the YALA National Park is not included in this package.
• You must pay the fees at the entrance in cash in Sri Lankan Rupees (Rs. 11,000/- , approx. $37 per person) or through a credit card. (There is no facility at present at the YALA National Park entrance to make cash payments in foreign currencies)
• The total duration of the Tour is around 10 hours. This includes 3 hours and 30 minutes inside the YALA National Park, 2 hours and 30 minutes to Pick up and reach to the entrance and 4 hours to Drop off after the safari.
