On arriving at the summit, the route leads you through the glacier cave via an underground tunnel and on to the viewing platform at the south wall window. The suspension bridge stretches from here to the Ice Flyer glacier chair lift station. The TITLIS Cliff Walk is just one metre wide and over 100 metres long. The views into the abyss below are breathtaking!

The cave’s 150-metre-long walkway descends ten metres below the surface of the glacier. Exploring the glacier cave is a cool experience. The temperature inside the cave remains a frosty -1.5°C.

It is a “must” if you visit Switzerland. - The scenery is simply indescribable: majestic mountains, bright snow and views that look like they were taken from a postcard. However, logistical expertise could be improved.
There are few dining options at the top and cleanliness in some areas leaves to be desired, especially considering the cost and flow of visitors. In addition, they do not clearly inform you that you can only get on the cable car twice, which can limit your route if you plan to go down and back up to take advantage of different points of the viewpoint.
In short, it is totally worth it for the landscape, but it is advisable to be prepared and with realistic expectations regarding the organization of the place.

Awesome! - It was a great experience, we arrived 15 minutes prior to opening and entry was quick. It was getting crowded when we were exiting about 3 hours later

I Love This Adventure - A great time. Beautiful town and a few quick steps to Mt Titlis. Bus if you choose not to walk was waiting. Beautiful way to see snow in the summer and the inside of a glacier. Restaurant was amazingly good.

Pretty tourist hustle and bustle with Switzerland kitsch - I deliberately booked this excursion on a Monday in the hope that fewer people would go to the summit. That was also true, but the crowd of Indians was still considerable. Nobody pushed and pushed, but some families wanted to take strollers up Cliff Walk.
The glacier path was modest compared to the Jungfraujoch, everything seemed to me like a cheap copy of the Jungfraujoch, chocolate shop, expensive watches, souvenir shop, kiosk, glacier, panoramic terrace, all a size smaller.
The view to the north and south very impressive, unfortunately in the distance thissig.
The tracks are perfectly fine and by no means dirty and shabby, as described in a review. I bought the ticket at the station, 61 francs with half-fare.
The construction site is enormous, but it only blocks the view to the south, but you can see unrestricted on the Cliff Walk.
I was most comfortable at Trürbsee

Must-see: unique experience. - After reading negative reviews for having excavators on top, we still decided to go and frankly we were not disappointed: if you live in a big city you see cranes everywhere ...!!
True, it is not economical but it is worth the investment, we used the Half Fare Card and got a 50% discount
They are unique views and you will also enjoy other attractions that are included in the price: Titlis Xpress cable car, Titlis Rotair (rotating cable car 360o), glacier grotto, suspension bridge, ...
It is also true that there are many people but since when are there no people in tourist sites 😂

A bit disappointing at the top with all the construction. - The coach there and back was great. I wish we had more time in Lucerne. Titlis was very well organised but once we hit the top of the mountain it was like a construction site. We also had lots of clouds so didn’t really have a great view. Beautiful town and the fish and chips at the end were yummy.

Great views on Clear Sunny days. - The views right from Lucerne to engelberg and then to Titlis is superb. Best to visit on sunny days. Better to avoid during cloudy days as you may not enjoy the views.
Giving 3 star rating as the rotaair is a marketing ploy, nothing great about it in that short ride. The ice flyer costs extra which is not worth the price as it's a very short ride. You can experience ice flyer at other places even for free (included in city travel pass). The ice flyer or chair lift is available in other areas of Switzerland like st moritz (much longer rides) and even in Austria.
Otherwise an amazing experience to the top. Glacier cave and the Titlis sky walk are good experiences. Amazing views all the way.

Cloud cover could spoil your day - I had found researching Titlis and all the options quite confusing, so this was our experience:
We parked in the Titlis car park, around 700m out of Engelberg (near the train station) and marked with blue/white flags. Parking cost us 6 CHF for around 6 hours.
We arrived at 8.40 and were glad that we had arrived so early - no queue for tickets. We had the Half Fare Card so paid 102 CHF for two adults (and free for our 15 year old). Use the toilets opposite the ticket desks as these were empty ( compared with the toilets near the little snack bar that had throngs of tourists freshly off coaches).
First step is the gondola up. Lots and lots of them so not much waiting. You soon head into cloud, but can hear cow bells which is nice. You can get off at Trubsee which is the first stop, but stay on to go to Titlis.
Everyone has to get off at the second stop, where you switch to the Rotair. Don’t get stuck in the middle - you’ll see nothing! The Rotair does one slow revolution before reaching the top (only ten minutes) but, in cloud, you won’t see much.
At the top, there is the whole Titlis complex, but it is not flowing very well with all the building work. You have no option but to flow through the Glacier Cave, then the Cliff Walk, then the optional Ice Flyer (extra charge of 12CHF adults, 6 CHF child) at the end. In cloud, the Cliff Walk is just cold and wet and grey. Much the same for the Ice Flyer, though we did get a few glimpses of the glacier beneath us.
In cloud, the only thing truly worth doing was the Glacier Cave. When we arrived about 9.30, we had it to ourselves and it was very nice. However, after we had walked through, been on the Cliff Walk (nothing to see) and then reached a dead end because of building work, we had to walk back through the Glacier Cave to get out. By then it was rammed with people off coaches and was unpleasant to walk through as there was only a guide rail on one side - clearly this was never designed for two-way traffic.
There really isn’t a lot to do at the top. We killed some time in the cafe with a view of cloud, occasionally diggers and joists.
Headed down the cable car and got off at Trubsee because you can break your journey on the way down at no extra cost. Still cloudy which meant the lake looked bleak and grey, but you could tell that, on a sunny day, this would be an AMAZING place for families - lots of interesting benches, fire pits with free wood so you can cook food for yourself, toilets, cows with cowbells, walks and short walks signposted, free pillow-jump, zip line (pay), hammocks, excellent playground etc.
On a sunny day, this would have been an awesome day but, cloudy, it left us a bit flat. Glacier Cave nice if you go early, treacherous if not.

DO NOT GO ON THIS TRIP WHILST THE WORKS ARE IN PROGRESS! - Queue to get onto the first train stage was 1 1/2 hours. There are then 3 further Gondola stages = 2 1/2 hours to get to the top. There are major works in progress with the view obscured by cranes and scaffolding in all directions. We thought we would escape to the mountain walk and suspension bridge but access to these was closed due to downwash from delivery helicopters. The fact that this attraction is still open during these works and they are charging 102 Francs is nothing short of scandalous. There were no signs to explain the extent of the works and no seating anywhere except the very expensive restaurant.
