Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park – Rhino Tracking at Ziwa Sanctuary
Murchison Falls National Park - Begin your day early with breakfast before heading to Murchison Falls National Park. En route, you will visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, established to protect Uganda’s remaining rhinos. Due to past poaching, rhinos are not found in Uganda’s parks, but plans are in place to reintroduce them as their numbers grow. Rhino tracking is the main attraction, but you can also enjoy a boat ride or spot crocodiles, birds, and small primates. After exploring the sanctuary, have lunch at Amuka Lodge before continuing to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival, drive to the top of the falls to witness the breathtaking sights and sounds of the roaring Nile River.
Early Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise - Murchison Falls NP
Murchison Falls National Park - Start your day with an early breakfast before heading to the southern banks of the Nile River for a morning game drive. This drive offers the chance to see four of the Big Five – lions, buffaloes, leopards, and elephants. You may also encounter hyenas, bushbucks, jackals, Uganda kobs, and hartebeests among other wildlife. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before embarking on a boat cruise at the base of the falls. As you cruise along the riverbanks, look out for one of the world’s largest concentrations of hippos and crocodiles. Birdwatching is also a highlight, with rare species such as the saddle-billed stork, African skimmer, shoebill stork, grey-crowned crane, goliath heron, black-headed gonolek, fish eagle, and long-toed plover.
Transfer to Kibale National Park – Visit the Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary
Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary - Rise early for breakfast before embarking on the journey to Kibale National Park. The guide/driver will take a different route from Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale National Park, allowing you to admire Uganda’s picturesque countryside, changing landscapes, small towns, lakes, rivers, forests, and local people working in their gardens. Stop for lunch along the way and arrive at Kibale Forest in the afternoon. After checking into your hotel, visit the Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary to see primates, birds, and engage with the local community.
Chimpanzee Tracking at Kibale and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Kibale National Park - Begin your day with a quick cup of coffee before heading to the Kibale National Park headquarters for a briefing on your chimpanzee tracking adventure. The briefing covers what to expect, what to bring, and how to behave when you encounter the chimpanzees. Chimp trekking typically lasts 3 to 5 hours and differs from gorilla trekking as chimps spend more time in the trees. Chimpanzee tracking is physically demanding, requiring you to move quickly to keep up with them. After spending an hour with the chimps, return to your lodge for lunch and rest before a 2-hour drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Game Drive and Boat Cruise at the Kazinga Channel
Kazinga Channel - After a restful night, anticipate today’s exciting activities. The driver will pick you up after breakfast for an early morning game drive. This drive allows you to see nocturnal animals returning to their dens after a night of hunting. Expect to see big cats and birds waking up. As the day progresses, you may spot hippos, buffaloes, lions, hartebeests, and a variety of birds. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. At 2:00 pm, embark on a boat cruise at the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George to Lake Edward and attracts many park animals, especially during the dry season. Observe predators and prey coming for a drink and marvel at the diverse birdlife.
Visit to Lake Bunyonyi – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park
Lake Victoria - After the previous day’s activities, enjoy a day of relaxation and exploration at Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa’s most naturally beautiful locations. The lake features around 29 islands, offering visitors the chance to tour some of them. The area is blessed with a lush green environment and romantic beaches, which can be explored by boat. Bird enthusiasts will be delighted by the abundance of species. If birding isn’t your preference, simply relax on the beach, watching locals row their boats or fish. Lake Bunyonyi is an ideal spot for relaxation during or after a long safari in Uganda. After your time at the lake, the driver will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park to prepare for gorilla trekking.
Mountain Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park Rwanda
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Start your day early with breakfast before heading to the park offices for registration and briefing. The briefing includes information about the park, what to expect, and the gorilla groups in Bwindi. Gorilla groups are assigned based on fitness level, preference, and age. After the briefing, you will receive a hiking stick and be guided into the forest to locate the primates. Gorilla tracking is an exciting and adventurous activity, taking you through dense forest, shrub, and muddy areas before suddenly encountering the gorilla group. Capture as many photos as possible during your one-hour visit with the family. You will then receive a certificate of participation before returning to the lodge for lunch and rest. After checking out, prepare for a late afternoon journey to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda.
Second Gorilla Trekking at Volcanoes National Park – Visit the Iby’iwacu Cultural Village
Volcanoes National Park - Gorilla trekking briefing at Volcanoes National Park begins around 7:00 am. It is recommended to wake up early and have breakfast while waiting for the guide to pick you up. Rwanda is home to about 10 gorilla families, and group allocation is based on participants’ overall fitness. While tracking mountain gorillas, always listen to and follow the guides’ instructions. Avoid sudden movements and only take photos when permitted. After gorilla tracking in Rwanda, return to the starting point where the guide will be waiting to take you back to the lodge for lunch and rest. Later in the afternoon, visit the Gorilla Guardians Village, which showcases the cultural heritage of the Banyarwanda. This well-organized center invites tourists to participate in presentations and allows them to dress in local costumes for photos.
Golden Monkey Tracking – Kigali City Tour – Departure
Kigali Genocide Memorial - Begin your day early with breakfast before attending a briefing for golden monkey tracking. Golden monkeys are charming yet endangered primates, known for their playful nature and large troops. Their golden coats make them distinct from other primates in the park. While tracking them, you may also spot other primates along the trails. Afterward, the guide will take you back to the hotel for checkout before starting the journey to Kigali. The 3-hour journey offers stunning views of Rwanda’s rolling hills, green scenery, and tea plantations – truly a land of a thousand hills. Lunch will be en route. Upon reaching Kigali, enjoy a tour of the clean and organized city, including visits to genocide memorial centers. Finally, you will be dropped off at the airport or a hotel in Kigali.

Amboseli National Park - A Scb Tours and Travel guide will pick you up at 7:30 am from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and drive along Mombasa Road past the Athi Plains. In three to five hours, you will arrive in Amboseli. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch, a short rest, and then proceed for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Amboseli National Park - After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive with packed lunch. On clear days, Mount Kilimanjaro is visible as the sun rises. Continue the game drive across the park until 4:00 pm, then check out and drive to Lake Nakuru.
Lake Nakuru Experience
Lake Nakuru National Park - Begin with an early morning pick-up and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive crosses the equator to reach Lake Nakuru, south of Bogoria, known worldwide for its flamingos. The alkaline lake is recognized as a natural wonder and now serves as a rhino sanctuary, home to over 40 black and 60 white rhinos. However, the flamingos remain the main attraction, with up to 2 million creating a stunning pink band along the lakeshore. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Later, transfer to Masai Mara.

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Embark on an early morning drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the few places where wildlife thrives in numbers reminiscent of Africa’s past. As the northern tip of the Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular migration of wildebeest, zebras, and predators. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive.
Second Game Drive in Masai Mara National Reserve
Masai Mara National Reserve - After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. The reserve is renowned for its black-maned lions and abundant wildlife, offering the chance to see the Big Five. Cheetahs may seek shade under vehicles or climb onto roofs for better views of prey. Bird enthusiasts will appreciate the nearly 500 species recorded, including eagles, hawks, falcons, vultures, storks, bustards, and sunbirds.
Masai Cultural Experience and Transfer to Serengeti
Masai Mara National Reserve - Transfer from Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park via the Isebania border. A community tour with the Masai people is planned for today. The transfer to Serengeti takes most of the day, but includes game drives in the morning at Masai Mara and in the afternoon at Serengeti. Enjoy the afternoon game drive en route to your tented camp.

Serengeti National Park - The renowned Serengeti National Park is home to the great migration. The game drive offers spectacular views as you ascend the crater highlands and stop at the rim. The vast Serengeti, meaning “endless plains” in Kiswahili, stretches before you. This 18,000 sq km park is inhabited by over 2 million large animals, including wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Smaller animals like rock hyrax and monkeys, along with nearly 500 bird species, also reside here. Visit Oldupai Gorge and enjoy a hot air balloon ride. After breakfast the next day, spend a full day in Serengeti National Park with morning and afternoon game drives.
Serengeti and Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro - Before breakfast, embark on an early morning safari to spot animals at their most active time and witness a stunning sunrise. Return to the camp for brunch, then transfer to Ngorongoro. With walls 600m high and a crater floor spanning 264 sq km, the crater is a wildlife haven, home to nearly every East African species, including the rare black rhino. The crater boasts the highest concentration of wildlife on the planet, with giant bull elephants sporting enormous tusks due to the mineral-rich volcanic soil and grasses. An afternoon walking safari in the Ngorongoro Highlands is possible.
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Descend to the crater floor early in the morning for a day of wildlife viewing in this incredible location. After a picnic lunch near the hippo lake and more wildlife viewing in the afternoon, ascend the steep road out of the crater. Transfer to Manyara for an overnight stay. Alternatively, visit Tarangire instead of Manyara, recommended from June to September. A visit to Oldonyo Sambu Maasai Village is possible en route to Manyara/Tarangire.
Lake Manyara National Park and Transfer to Tarangire National Park
Lake Manyara National Park - Depart after breakfast and drive across the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. This enchanting park is known for its beauty and lush acacia forest, home to baboons and blue monkeys. It is also renowned for its diverse birdlife, buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, impalas, and a hippo lake. The park is famous for tree-climbing lions and flamingos on the lakeshore. Game drives along the lake shore offer incredible views of animals with the lake, flamingos, and plains in the background. Later, depart for Tarangire National Park.

Tarangire National Park - After breakfast, depart for Tarangire, Tanzania’s third-largest national park and a sanctuary for a large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are a notable feature, dwarfing the animals beneath them. Wildlife concentrates along the Tarangire River, the area’s only permanent water source. The park hosts a diverse range of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and up to 6,000 elephants. Enjoy a game drive with a picnic lunch.
Transfer to Zanzibar
Stone Town - Transfer from Tarangire National Park to Stone Town. Spend your first night recovering from your journey in a boutique hotel located in a beautiful, characteristic building in the heart of Stone Town’s old center, with many nearby restaurants for lunch and dinner.
Zanzibar Island Relaxation
Zanzibar City - Relax and enjoy the paradise of beautiful white sand beaches and turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.
