Kampala - Originally built on seven hills, Kampala, the capital of Uganda, now extends over more than 20 hills and continues to grow rapidly.
Kampala is home to vibrant markets, including the bustling Nakasero Market at the base of Nakasero Hill, offering fresh produce such as eggs, chickens, fish, halal meats, and a variety of colorful vegetables, tubers, and fruits. Don’t miss Kampala’s famous Rolex – a popular street food consisting of an egg omelet and vegetables wrapped in a chapatti (a flat, round bread made without yeast). Further west, Owino Market offers a wide range of goods from food and spices to pots, pans, and secondhand clothing.
For authentic Ugandan souvenirs like wood carvings, woven barkcloth mats and pots, decorated gourds, musical instruments, leather and sisal baskets, and textiles, visit the Uganda Arts & Crafts Village behind the National Theatre on Buganda Road.

Uganda Equator - The Equator line in Uganda is located along the Masaka-Mbarara highway in a small town called Kayabwe. This well-known landmark is a must-visit for those wishing to experience the Equator experiment and capture memorable photos. It is a popular activity.
