Arrival and Transfer to Kampala

Entebbe International Airport - Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our driver/guide will be there to warmly welcome you to Uganda. You will then be transferred to your hotel in either Entebbe or Kampala for your stay.

Your guide will provide a briefing on the Uganda Wildlife Safari to ensure you are well-prepared for the exciting journey that begins the next morning.

Journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - In the early morning, our driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel or residence in Kampala or Entebbe. You will then be driven to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through Masaka and Mbarara towns.

A brief stop will be made at the Uganda Equator line for snacks and photography before proceeding to Mbarara town for lunch. After lunch, the journey to Bwindi continues, offering beautiful countryside views, including plantations and hills leading to the impenetrable forest.

You will arrive at your accommodation in the evening. If time permits, you can explore the community before returning to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - It’s the day for gorilla tracking! Get ready to meet one of Bwindi’s gentle giants in the forest.

You will start your day early with breakfast and arrive at the park offices by 7:30 am. Park rangers will brief you on the procedures before beginning your trek.

In groups of eight, accompanied by rangers, you will venture into the forest to find the mountain gorillas that inhabit this dense rainforest. Although the trek can be challenging, encountering the gorillas makes it all worthwhile.

Once you find the mountain gorillas, you will spend one hour with them before being guided back to the starting point by the park ranger.

After gorilla tracking, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park. If fortunate, you may see the tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector of the park. You will then proceed to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Chimp Tracking in Kalinzu Forest Reserve

Kalinzu Central Forest Reserve - After an early breakfast, your guide will drive you to Kalinzu Forest for a guided primate walk in search of chimpanzees. You will encounter various primate species that inhabit the area, including the colobus monkey, olive baboon, and red-tailed monkey.

Your guide will offer detailed explanations about the primates and all the forest’s fauna and flora.

Following this thrilling experience, you will return to Kampala or Entebbe (Airport), with a stop in Mbarara City for lunch and at the equator for souvenir shopping.
