Entebbe - On your arrival at Entebbe international airport (EBB), you will be met by a Dav safaris staff that will brief you. This is a long day drive of approximately 7 hours with lunch stop over en route. Though long, the drive takes you through different features to include tropical rain forests, savannah fields and the terraced hills of Kigezi famously known as the Switzerland of East Africa. Upon arrival in Bwindi we shall check in at the lodge and proceed to the Batwa community for the cultural adventure about these forest pygmies. You will spend the rest of day at leisure as you wait for the next day’s adventure. Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner
Gorilla Trekking And transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for Canoe Ride
Kibale National Park - After an early morning breakfast, and with your picnic lunch we then take a short drive to the park offices for briefing where we meet the excellent local guides and trackers who give a talk on the etiquette of gorilla trekking. We then hike into the forest to a spot where gorillas were seen the previous night and track from there. Trekking may take anything between 1 to 6 hours depending on the location of the family and altitudes which is in excess of 7500 feet.
Transfer to Kampala via Equator line
Entebbe - After breakfast, start on the long drive back to Entebbe / Kampala with the memory of the great rare mountain Apes. Lunch en route and a stopover at the equator line for experimentation, arriving late in the evening to be dropped at Entebbe international airport at approximately 6 pm hence you have to book an evening flight!

incredible guide, tour and company. - With Dav Safaris, our family had a fantastic time seeing Tanzania. Their staff made sure everything was well planned from beginning to end, which made the trip stress-free and pleasurable for everybody. We witnessed amazing wildlife, including lions, elephants, and even a rare rhino sighting, as we traveled to famous sites like the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Our guide was excellent, very informed, and skilled at keeping the adults and children interested during the trip.
Families found the rooms to be perfect because they were roomy, cozy, and in excellent areas. Our children particularly enjoyed learning about traditional living and even participating in some local dances during the cultural excursion to a nearby Masai village. Dav Safaris went above and beyond to ensure that our holiday will never be forgotten. Their expertise, meticulousness, and kind demeanor made this the ideal family outing. To anyone considering a Tanzanian tour, we heartily recommend Dav Safaris.

A Must Do!! - I had a wonderful experience with Dav Safaris and would highly recommend them! My tour guide was Adams, and he’s the best tour guide I’ve ever had! As a solo female traveler I felt safe with him and he was an informative guide and friend! I initially flew to Rwanda and spent a day there and did the golden monkey trekking and then to Uganda for the gorilla trekking. We also spent some time in the Dian Fossey museum and the genocide museum, the latter being emotionally hard to go to but important to learn about. The places we stayed at were top notch and the food and everyone I met along the way were very kind and hospitable. Don’t think twice about it just do it!

A wonderful adventure ! - We took a 4-day trip with Dav Safaris across Rwanda and Uganda to see the region’s primates, particularly the golden monkeys and the silverback gorillas. Our guide, Bonnie, was welcoming and knowledgeable, sharing insights that added depth to our experience. The encounters with the gorillas and other primates were truly special. Overall, it was a well-organized trip, and we’d recommend Dav Safaris to anyone looking for a wildlife adventure in the area.

Goriila trekk 7 days trip in Uganda - Perfect with Dav Safari experinece,organisation everything, guide Boaz was helpful , was with us every time. We so many wild animals on safari rour, chimpazie, gorrilas. Accomadation was perfect everywhere, food was excellent . I recomend this trip with Dav safari everybody

A Spectacular Family Safari Experience with Dav Safari in Botswana. - Our family had the most incredible safari experience with Dav Safari in Botswana. From the breathtaking landscapes to the up-close wildlife encounters, every moment was unforgettable.
The game drives in Chobe National Park were a highlight—seeing elephants, lions, and giraffes in their natural habitat was simply magical. The Okavango Delta was equally stunning, with serene mokoro rides through the waterways where we spotted hippos and exotic birds. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, making the experience both fun and educational for the whole family.
The lodges and camps were comfortable, well-located, and had excellent service. The staff made us feel so welcome, and the meals were delicious. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, ensuring a smooth and memorable trip.
If you're looking for an unforgettable family safari, we highly recommend Dav Safari. A truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Amazing Family Safari in Zimbabwe - Amazing Family Safari in Zimbabwe
Our family safari in Zimbabwe was an unforgettable adventure! We saw the Big Five in Hwange National Park, marveled at Victoria Falls, and enjoyed a breathtaking sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. The guides were knowledgeable, the lodges were luxurious, and the hospitality was outstanding. A perfect mix of adventure, education, and relaxation—highly recommended.

2 Gorillas rubbed up against us including a Silverback!!! - You want to ask for the guide "Bornlight," he's the most level headed guide you could possibly ask for, and was able to share so much about his culture. He was always on time (which is very important to us) and went above and beyond in every way.
This Gorilla trip is absolutely unreal!!! Do it. Do it. Do it.
My family and I had the best time going hiking through the jungle in order to find the Gorillas, and we ended up seeing a family of around 20 and 2 gorillas ended up rubbing up against us!!! (including a silverback) 😍😍
It was so cool!!!!!
When you get to the gorilla hiking place, make sure to get a porter. It's $20 and single handedly the best $20 investment you'll ever make. The hike could be 30min long, or 4 hours to get to the gorillas, it's literally a lottery, and your hiking through the jungle, it's slippery and your constantly going up & downhill... trust me... get a porter to carry your waters, and hold your hand.
Bring garters for your ankles, good hiking boots, and gardening gloves as well.
Have a blast.
And seriously, ask for "Bornlight" I'd recommend him 100 times over.

Chris is the best - Well where do I start this trip was absolutely amazing we seen everything we came to see this country is amazing.
Our tour guide Chris is amazing I have been on a lot of tours but Chris was by far the best we ever had from start to finish. He was so kind and had a lot of knowledge about the wildlife and about the country itself any questions we had he knew the answers he took so many photos of us to we didn’t even have to ask he always made sure we where happy and comfortable the whole trip the trip would not have been the same without Chris we will miss him on our travels and hope to come back to Uganda in the future.
Trekking was amazing food was 10/10 and the service was 11/10.

Amazing - This is the second time we have used Dav Safaris. Both trips were mind blowing!
Pre booking communication was clear and really helpful. We were given plenty of suggestions on routes, activities and accommodation to suit our holiday duration and budget.
All payments were securely made and we received immediate receipts for payment.
On arrival we were met at the airport by our driver Boaz who was our guide for the whole trip.
He spoke excellent English, and proved to be a wealth of knowledge regarding all things Uganda. His expertise on the animals we saw was staggering! At each park we visited, he was welcomed as a freind by the rangers and other tour guides. He knew the best routes to take within the national parks to afford us the most spectacular views a whole host of animals. In 10 days we saw lions elephants zebra 4 types if antelope warthog hippos cross and unless birds. Eagle eyed Boaz even spotted a 6 inch lizard on a mountain dirt road, and happily stopped in time for us to take a closer look.
Nothing was too much trouble. We felt safe and secure throughout. Boaz even introduced us to some local Ugandan restaurants....food which was delicious.
I would highly recommend Dav Safaris to anyone looking for a safari adventure. Other members of my family are planning to use Dav again in 2026 when they go for their safari adventure.

Unforgettable Safari Experience with Dav Safaris and Guide Simon - My friends and I had an amazing safari in Kenya with Dav Safaris, guided by the fantastic Simon. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we saw incredible wildlife, including the Big Five. The trip was well-organized, with great accommodations and breathtaking locations.
