Entebbe - Upon reaching Entebbe International Airport, a Kristev Safari designated English-speaking Professional Tour Driver-guide will greet and welcome you to Uganda – the Pearl of Africa. You will then be transferred to your reserved accommodation. After checking in, you can relax and recover from jet lag and adjust to the time difference.

Journey to Zziwa for Rhino Tracking. Continue to Murchison NP.

Murchison Falls National Park - After breakfast, embark on a journey to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a successful conservation initiative aimed at saving Uganda’s nearly extinct rhino population. Thanks to this effort, visitors can now encounter rhinos in Uganda. At Zziwa, enjoy an hour of on-foot rhino tracking. Following this, drive to Masindi for a lunch stop. After lunch, continue to Murchison NP for an overnight stay at the reserved accommodation. You may choose to go on a game drive before heading to the accommodation, or proceed directly to check in and relax.

Murchison Falls National Park - Enjoy a full day of game viewing in the park. Murchison Falls NP is home to various wildlife species such as Buffalos, Jackson hartebeests, elephants, lions, giraffes, leopards, and hyenas, among others. These animals roam the savannah grasslands, either grazing or hunting, making the park’s landscape ideal for game viewing. To avoid a long drive back to the lodge, consider having lunch at Red Chilli. After lunch, continue with the second part of your game viewing. After a fulfilling day, return to the lodge to freshen up, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Visit the Top of the Falls. Transfer to Kibale Forest NP.

Kibale Forest National Park - After breakfast, drive to the top of the falls to admire the beauty and grandeur of Murchison Falls. From there, embark on a journey to the edge of Kibale Forest National Park for an overnight stay. The drive is long but offers stunning views of villages, lush green countryside, and hills with tea plantations. Upon arrival, check in and relax.

Chimp Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Queen Elizabeth National Park - After breakfast, head to the rangers’ post for a briefing on chimp trekking guidelines. Then, proceed to trek the chimps in Kibale Forest with an experienced ranger-guide. Spend an hour observing the chimpanzees. Return to the lodge for lunch, then head to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Optionally, if time permits, enjoy a brief afternoon-evening game drive.

Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Trip on the Kazinga Channel.

Queen Elizabeth National Park - Start early with breakfast, then go for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains to spot Cape buffalos, elephants, lions, and possibly leopards. Return to the accommodation for rest and lunch. After lunch, enjoy a 2-hour boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, connecting Lakes George and Edward. Witness wildlife such as hippos, elephants, and crocodiles, and observe various bird species along the shores. After the boat trip, choose to either return to the lodge to rest or go for a brief late afternoon game drive before returning to the lodge.

Relaxed Breakfast. Drive to Ishasha Sector and Connect to Bwindi NP.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest, Return and Relax.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - After breakfast, proceed to the rangers’ post for a briefing on gorilla trekking guidelines. Enter the forest for an adventure and encounter with the gorillas. The rainforest’s beauty is breathtaking, with steeply forested landscapes and dense vegetation crisscrossed by animal trails. The trek duration (4-8 hours) and terrain vary with the gorillas’ movements. Once a gorilla group is located, spend an hour with them. This unforgettable experience with these gentle giants is truly memorable. Return to the accommodation to rest after the trek.

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Lake Mburo National Park - Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading to Lake Mburo NP. This compact gem is conveniently located near the highway connecting Entebbe/Kampala to western Uganda’s parks. Although the smallest of Uganda’s savannah National Parks, it hosts numerous bird species and animals like giraffes, zebras, impalas, elands, buffalos, and elusive leopards. Upon arrival, check in and rest before embarking on a late afternoon-to-evening game drive to observe Mburo’s inhabitants. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Walking Safari and Transfer to Entebbe International Airport

Entebbe - After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning park (bush) walk in Mburo with an armed Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger-guide. Encounter zebras, giraffes, elands, topis, and other antelopes, as well as Cape buffalos up close. After this wildlife experience, return to the accommodation for checkout and head to Entebbe airport for your flight (1800hrs or later). Expect a stop at the Equator crossing mark in Kayabwe for a photo opportunity and, if interested, purchase some souvenirs.
