Queen Elizabeth National Park - Upon arrival, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, located approximately 420km via the Mbarara highway and 410km via the Kasese highway, which is about a 5 to 6-hour drive from Kampala on a paved road. Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing. Later, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a lodge of your choice.

Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Nyungwe Forest National Park - Start with an early breakfast, then head to the headquarters for a briefing on the “Dos and Don’ts” of gorilla trekking. Spend 1 to 8 hours searching for mountain gorillas. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a lodge of your choice.

Chimpanzee Trekking Encounter

Nyungwe Forest National Park - After breakfast, embark on a chimpanzee trekking adventure, where you may also encounter other primates like colobus monkeys, as well as birds and butterflies. Return to the lodge for a late lunch and relax for dinner and an overnight stay.

Optional Relaxing Activities in Gisenyi, Lake Kivu

Lake Kivu - After breakfast, drive to Gisenyi for optional leisure activities such as swimming, boat cruises, and sunbathing to rejuvenate from previous activities. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Departure

Kigali - Start the day with breakfast, then head to Kigali for a city tour and visits to various sites. Transfer to the airport for departure.

This 11 Days Uganda Rwanda Gorilla tracking Tour takes you to Queen Elizabeth National Park; where you will have several game drives and a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel. Track chimpanzee at Kyambura Gorge and a nature walk in Maramagambo forest. There are also tree climbing lions found in Ishasha sector and gorilla tracking in Bwindi impenetrable National Park. Transfer to Rwanda in order to track the mountain gorillas the second time in Volcanoes national park. You will also do chimpanzee trekking in Rwanda, an optional relaxation at Lake Kivu for swimming and a recreational boat cruise.
