Entebbe - Kampala
Entebbe - Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda, guests will be warmly greeted by a representative and then transported to Kampala for check-in at the Cassia Lodge, where dinner and an overnight stay await. For late-night arrivals, an overnight stay at Boma Guest House in Entebbe is recommended.

Fort Portal
Fort Portal - After breakfast, guests will be driven to Fort Portal, the capital of the Tooro Kingdom, nestled in the shadow of the Rwenzori Mountains, Africa’s largest mountain range. Lunch will be enjoyed en route. In the evening, a visit to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary is organized for a nature walk in the Frost Sanctuary, offering the chance to spot some endemic Albertine species. Later, guests will travel to Primate Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Chimpanzee Trekking - Queen Elizabeth Park
Kibale National Park - After breakfast, the day’s activities include a nature walk in Kibale National Park, where guests will experience the tropical rainforest, bird watching, and a unique encounter with chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Kibale National Park boasts the highest primate density in the world, with species such as black and white colobus, red-tailed monkey, and vervet monkey. Additionally, 325 bird species are recorded in the area. In the afternoon, guests will proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, situated between Lake George to the east, Lake Edward to the west, and the Rwenzori Mountains to the north. Upon entering the park, an exciting game drive will lead to Enganzi Lodge for check-in, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Queen Elizabeth National Park
Queen Elizabeth National Park - Guests will rise early, check out, and with breakfast in hand, embark on a sunrise game drive along the park’s tracks, heading north towards Lake George and Kasenyi Village. Wildlife sightings may include lions, elephants, buffalo, spotted hyenas, waterbucks, Ugandan kobs, and possibly the elusive leopard. In the early afternoon, guests will enjoy a thrilling safari by boat from Mweya Peninsula along Kazinga Channel, renowned for its wildlife concentration, birdlife, and excellent photography opportunities. The boat cruise offers views of hippos, buffalo, and elephants drinking along the channel’s shores. After lunch, the journey continues south to the Ishasha Sector, a vast savannah between the Ishasha and Ntungwe rivers. At sundown, guests will return to Ishasha Jungle Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Ishasha - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Queen Elizabeth National Park - After breakfast, guests will check out and embark on a morning game drive in Ishasha, where they may spot tree-climbing lions resting atop fig trees during the hot hours of the day. Herds of buffalo, elephants, topi antelopes, and more can also be seen. After lunch, the journey continues to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a natural habitat for endangered mountain gorillas and a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its biodiversity significance. The “gorilla safari” area is determined by permit availability and allocation. Guests will check in to Bwindi Engagi Lodge, enjoy dinner, and settle in for the night.
Gorilla Tracking Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - After breakfast, guests will enter Bwindi’s tropical rainforest for a gorilla safari. Accompanied by ranger/guides, in groups of up to 8 people, they will search for a habituated family of mountain gorillas. Bwindi in Uganda is home to approximately 370 gorillas, half of the world’s population according to 2007 surveys. Once located, guests will have one hour to observe the primates and their behaviors, capturing unforgettable photographs. Later in the evening, they will return to Bwindi Engagi Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Bwindi - Lake Mburo National Park
Lake Mburo National Park - After breakfast, guests will check out and travel to Lake Mburo National Park. This small game park in Uganda’s central region, Ankole, serves as a perfect stopover between Bwindi and Entebbe. After lunch, a game drive will offer sightings of impalas, elands, topi antelopes, buffalo, and zebras. In the late afternoon, guests will proceed to Rwakobo Rock Lodge for check-in, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Activities in Lake Mburo National Park
Lake Mburo National Park - This day is reserved for leisure activities. After breakfast, guests may choose optional activities such as a nature walk to encounter zebras and antelopes up close, accompanied by an armed ranger and guide. Lunch and dinner will be served at the lodge. Optional activities incur additional costs.
Lake Mburo - Entebbe
Entebbe - After breakfast, guests will enjoy a final nature walk in the park, followed by a boat tour on the lake, before returning to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, they will check out and begin the journey back to Entebbe. By evening, they will arrive in Entebbe for an overnight stay at Carpe Diem Guest House. Dinner is not included unless ordered in advance. Guests will settle in for the night.
Entebbe - Flight Home
Entebbe - After breakfast, guests will drive to Entebbe for their departure flight from Entebbe International Airport. For late evening flights, additional activities such as a visit to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary can be arranged. This marks the end of the safari.
