Game Drive in Murchison Falls National Park
Murchison Falls National Park - After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, set out on a game drive to discover the park’s diverse wildlife. Spot giraffes, lions, elephants, buffaloes, birds, and more. Return to the lodge for lunch, then prepare for a boat cruise on the Nile River. This cruise offers close encounters with water animals, including over 4,000 hippos and Nile crocodiles. The Nile is also home to a variety of beautiful bird species, such as bee-eaters, colorful kingfishers, shoebill storks, grey-throated, and yellow-billed birds.
Transfer to Kibale National Park
Kibale National Park - Depart early from Murchison Falls National Park after breakfast, passing by the Lake Albert escarpments for stunning views. Stop in Hoima for lunch at a local hotel, then continue past Lake Nkusi and along Lake Kyoga. Travel through traditional villages, observing local agriculture and capturing photos of the rolling hills with traditional cash crops. Enjoy the scenery of Fort Portal at the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains, surrounded by tea plantations. Proceed to Kibale National Park, one of Africa’s great rainforests. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and visit the scenic crater lakes region and terraced tea plantations around Fort Portal.
Engage in Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest & Bigodi Wetland Visit
Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary - Rise early and head to Kanyanchu by 8:00 am for a chimpanzee trek in Kibale Forest. Chimpanzees share 98% of their DNA with humans, making them our closest relatives. During the trek, encounter other primates and animals, including L’Hoest’s monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, pottos, bush babies, and various bird species like the little greenbul, yellow-spotted nicator, rumped tinkerbird, crowned eagle, green-breasted pitta, black bee-eater, and elephants.
Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Queen Elizabeth National Park - After breakfast, enjoy a walk along the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains, catching a glimpse of the majestic peaks. Continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, just a three-hour drive from Kibale National Park. This renowned conservation area is home to diverse wildlife and primate species. It is bordered by Lake Edward to the southwest and Lake George to the northeast. Named after Queen Elizabeth II, the park hosts a variety of wildlife, including impalas, kobs, forest hogs, elephants, buffaloes, tree-climbing lions, and cape buffaloes. The park also features volcanic calderas that attract flamingos during certain seasons.
Game Drive & Afternoon Boat Cruise - Queen
Kazinga Channel - Rise early and, after breakfast, embark on a morning game drive to spot animals like elephants, elands, antelopes, buffaloes, and lions. Return to the lodge to relax and have lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, where you’ll see crocodiles, hippos, waterbucks, buffaloes, and birds like storks and kingfishers.

Depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Gorilla Trekking - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Experience the thrill of meeting mountain gorillas in Bwindi Forest! After a delicious breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the lodge for a briefing before exploring the misty forest. Encounter gentle giants and other wildlife like buffaloes, elephants, monkeys, butterflies, and various bird species. You are allowed one hour with the gorillas. Trekking can take from one to eight hours, depending on the gorillas’ location. After the trek, consider a guided nature walk or a community visit in the evening.
Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Lake Mburo National Park - Your guide will transfer you to Lake Mburo National Park, one of Uganda’s smallest savannah national parks. Established as a national park in 1983, it covers 371 sq km and is home to over 332 bird species and animals like buffaloes, oribis, kobs, warthogs, and zebras. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and enjoy a guided nature walk through the park. Have dinner and stay overnight.
Game Drive and an Afternoon Boat Cruise
Lake Mburo National Park - After breakfast at your lodge, embark on a game drive through the park, where you’ll see impalas, kobs, antelopes, and various bird species. Return to your lodge for lunch, then prepare for an unforgettable boat ride on the lake, where you’ll encounter crocodiles, hippos, and more.
Return to Kampala/Entebbe
Entebbe - After an early breakfast, enjoy a game drive through the park as you begin your journey back to Kampala. Stop for lunch en route and take a break at the equator for experiments and photos. Arrive in Kampala in the evening, or head to the airport in Kampala if you have a flight scheduled for that day.
